Wonderful 50 minute legal thriller

I suspect that writing really good short stories may be more difficult than writing longer stories. With Unlawful Greed Pamela Samuels Young has written a wonderful short legal thriller. As always, RC Bray's narration is superb.

Super Short Story

This is a who dunnit with an "out-of-left field" villain. Narrator Bray is perfect for PSY's stories. If you enjoy her stories, you'll probably love this one too.

Jam Packed Action and Drama

What did you like best about this story?

-

When I saw this download was only 52 minutes long I didn't expect much much. Wow! Was I wrong? This super condensed (time wise) murder mystery was packed with action and adventure in a way that was not at all rushed.

The narrator did a fantastic job and kept the story going not only because it was well-written but because it was performed well. Two thumbs up!

*I was gifted a copy of this book in exchange for my thoughts opinions & review.*

Given that scenario, I am rarely interested in follow-up books based on the story. I really was impressed with this recording both as a story and the narration – I will be looking for more titles by this author & performances by this narrator.

Notes: Murder mystery

Credit worthy/$: I wouldn't waste a credit on this but would certainly consider purchasing it.

Greed is tough to swallow...

This was a very short story but it was enjoyable. The author Pamela Samuels Young did a great job with this story. I've never read/listened to any of this author's stories before, until now but it was a well written short story. The story is basically about an upstanding L.A. lawyer who's found dead in his office. He's been married one to many times, also has been taking care of his son who's plenty old enough to take care of himself, and his partner in the law firm find themselves as suspects. But when it comes to money and love you sometimes end up crushing yourself. Its a fast paced story with not many clues. Do the two female detectives find the killer?

The narrator R.C. Bray did a fantastic job with holding my attention. R.C. kept the story flowing very nice. The narrator did a really good job with distinguishing the accents of each character. This isn't my normal genre but even so, I thought it to be well written and the performance of the narrator was enjoyable. I will definitely check out other stories that both the author has written and the narrator has done. If you're looking for a fast paced murder mystery then look no further because this one is it. I received this audio in exchange for an honest review.

1930's radio

Story line short which is good who done it. Reminds me the era before TV when everyone is sitting around the radio listening to this weeks story. Do I recommend it yes.

Ain’t life grand!

We are never satisfied with what we have. When that happens Karma always slaps us back to reality. Don’t use a credit, isn’t long enough, but do buy it. You will really have a good listen. (Smile)

Entertaining listen

Narrator R.C. Bray, as usual, is excellent. My first book by Pamela Samuels Young will not be my last. I wanted to get a grasp on Young's writing and for a couple of dollars, it was well worth the 50-minute listen. Highly recommended.
