Final Maverick story?
This book was the final (possibly) book in the series the Maverick Billionaires and focused on the younger sister Lyssa and Cal, a friend of the Mavericks. I don’t mind an age-gap/ forbidden or boss/employee trope but it did feel a little forced at times and the characters felt constrained by the trope. The overall story was good but it didn’t hit me the same as some of the previous books. I would say it was good but not great. Eva Kaminsky did a great job with the narration, but I still prefer a dual style since I enjoy the male performance as well.
