Better good

I like the spin. Relationships aren't always perfect but it doesn't mean they're over. I like how the woman called it like it was and didn't accept anything less then respect 💯

Better Than The First

When I saw that CCJ had written a part 2 for the same characters I was almost in shock, as she rarely does that. Sure, she will mention them in another book, but while a new book dedicated solely to the same people- naaaah! But when I tell you I am SO glad she did this for Gaby and Terrance!! Yessss! Admittedly, book 1 wasn't a favorite for me, but book 2 was so much better than the first that I listened to it all today and it was well worth my time! I felt a little bit of every emotion with this book and I was so glad to see that Gaby has grown up and tucked away most of those tears in favor of handling her grown woman business. I was happy to get a glimpse back into everyone's life years later and this book left this short series in a great place.

Oh, and as per usual the Dynamic Duo narrated the HELL out of this book!!! Bravo team- BRAVO!

Again the drawn out story drive me crazy

this second book was better than the first however what annoyed me was Gaby back and forth emotions. She was stringing him along the games she played was very childish, I get she got hurt but geez either get over it or forgive and not play games. Of course Jakobi and Wesleigh hands down my favorite narrators. Terrance idk is bookbae I know he messed up but not really he is a stand up guy.

Sitionships and relationships nice mixtures!

Ms. CCJones, you have done it again. Mixture of misunderstandings with perceived situations. Unfolded to communications to one another. Always fanning over the two narrators.

Just wow!!!

Never thought their relationship would have been so rocky. Their journey is relatable. Gabi and Terrence were made for each other. Kudos to the narrative duo whose voices brought the story to life. Great story and superb narration!!

Finally

This wss the perfect follow up to unfinished business and OMG I am so happy that Terrance and Gabby finally got it together. For a minute I didn't they would ever figure things out. I can't believe that BS move Preston pulled but he got his in the end. Great sequel. I am in love with Jakobi Diem and Wesleigh Siobhon. These two together bring a story to life.

Well! Christina did it yet again!

This short read (audible) had me on my toes. It was just enough suspense to make me dislike Sabrina even more before her wicked and desperate attempts. How are you going to talk negative about someone’s baby’s momma? Preston, I knew he was slick. Don’t mess with God’s people. I love this sequel. I prefer stand-alone books or series, not sequential audibles. However, this was perfect. Jakobi & Wesleigh sound like a couple in real life. They are masters at their craft.

Amazing beautiful love story

I absolutely love how the suspense builded from beginning to end! I also love how this book was read! It was soooo realistic that you can put yourself in any of the characters shoes! It was flawless! Christina C. Jones has done it again! I love this audible book and I plan to re-listen to it more times then I should! It makes you think about the one who got away!!

Unfortunate Reality

We were blown away to go into this read knowing Terrence and Gabi were no longer together. We were clamoring to find out what happened. Although it was heartbreaking, the story was reality at its finest. Their relationship went through peril because before they could fully know, understand, and grow with each other, they had a whole life with real life responsibilities together. That kind of pressure doesn’t always pan out and unfortunately causes relationships to fold. We loved the way that despite all of the betrayal and heartache, they never stopped fighting for each other as parents, friends, and eventually lovers. Sabrina and Preston, be damned! Those two characters will run your blood pressure up - fair warning! CCJ did it again and brought the realness to the fairytale in this story. Sad to say goodbye to these lovable characters.

Different, but in a good way

It’s so well written! You just wanted them to get it right, but they had to do it their way!
