I can save the world. I just may have to ruin all of my friends’ lives in the process.

Of all the people tasked with making sure the realms don’t burn and the worlds don’t end, I’m surely the most unlikely choice.

Unfortunately for me, fate doesn’t care.

Don’t get me wrong–I’m more than capable. But I prefer a direct approach. Unfortunately, I need the Unseelie King’s precious sword, and he would see my teeth and claws a mile away.

So this will require precision. Somehow, I need to convince the bane of my existence to trust me enough to let down his guard.

And then I have to betray him.

Honestly this entire world was amazing. Every story line every character was AMAZING. Read both series in 2 weeks

Wow.

I enjoyed the story between Kyla and Fin, but I am just not a fan of the voice the narrator used for Finvarra. The story was good, it answered questions that came up early in Deals with Demons.

A happy ending.

Loved this book in the series as the wolf and unseelie king try to save the realms!!! Love the previous character cameos.

Love this series!!!

This was the end of this trilogy (at least I think it is) and this book focused on FMC Kyla and her relationship with the Unseelie King Finvarra.

The first book in the series was the weakest for me but the series did get better. I had a problem with Evie in the first book but she redeemed herself in book 2. Unfortunately, we only got one book with Kyla as the main character, so I'm not sure if spreading out their story over 2 books would have made a difference.

I enjoyed the actual plot of this book, there was LOTS going on and the action felt non-stop from the very beginning. Where I had my slight problem was with Kyla as a character. She seemed to get herself into SO many bad circumstances that really didn't need to happen. If she had stopped for one second and thought things through, things would have been so different. The bad thing about this behavior was that she was 100% aware of her impulsiveness but choose to continue to act the same way - regardless of the consequences.

Then there was the romance with Finvarra. While it was clear that the two of them had a certain attraction to each other, what WASN'T clear was their relationship as a whole. It felt superficial and one dimensional. There wasn't anything that solidified the relationship - one example of this was Kyla's plan to take the tonic to forget everything. Really? She became somewhat annoying.

While I really liked Fin as a male lead, he had his own things to own up from, and it never felt like that happened realistically. His level of betrayal was enormous, and it felt like that was superficially wiped over. The two of them went from hot/cold to cold/cold to then, "I love you forever". Definitely gave me whiplash.

I think that this is the last book in the series but then we met Cousin Tae and he sounds like the perfect choice for the next book. I guess we'll just have to wait and see :)
