Publisher's Summary

Warning: This isn't a romance, but instead a tale of love between two despairing people, from two different worlds, both aching for something more.

Debbie Reynolds is a runaway, New York City-bound. Living on the road comes with many challenges - fighting for her next meal, seeking safe places to sleep, and dodging men with less than honorable intentions, all while searching for meaning in a life she finds painful and pointless. Damon "Preacher" Fox, vice president of the Silver Demons Motorcycle Club, has been in prison for club-related crimes. As his release draws near, he begins to reevaluate his choices in life, realizing that if he stays with the club, this won't be his last stint behind bars. Suddenly Preacher finds himself doubting everything he's ever known, wishing for a life beyond the club.

When Preacher and Debbie's paths cross, they find in each other a sense of peace they had been lacking. But life is about to catch up with Preacher, and Debbie, desperate to keep the one person who's ever shown her any kindness, finds herself caught between forces far deadlier and more powerful than she could have ever imagined. This is Debbie and Preacher's story.

At the end, we should all go back to the beginning, if only to remind ourselves that we once lived.

PHENOMINAL!!!!!

This entire series is the most raw biker series I've ever read or listened to. it is more of a biker novel than a romance book. Definitely not for the weak at heart! As always the narrator knocked this one out of the ballpark!!! WOW!!!

My heart!

This was my favorite out of all of them! My heart went out to Preacher and "Debbie." The story was great, but tragic and sad, but I'm glad they had each other, even tho they weren't able to have enough time with each other!

Preacher's story - Lost souls finding love

Past to present storytelling filling in the gaps about Debbie and Preacher's relationship, life with the Club, Eva's birth, and Debbie's disappearance.

We also get Eva dealing with Preacher's illness, learning the truth about her mother, and really seeing her father in a different light. BTW, Deuce and Eva still got it going on. They are and always will be THE BEST couple of the series.

At times the book dragged a little but I knew it would be worth it in the end. This story is emotional, beautiful, heartbreaking, and sad. By the time I got to the end of this book, I swear I was feeling like I knew Preacher personally. Great ending with closure we don't get in every series.

Amazing story and narration

Madeleine Sheehan continues his amazing series with Undeserving. I don’t often leave reviews with comments but I absolutely love this series and the narration! This story is a bit of a tear jerker but it’s REAL and that is what I like about it. I can’t wait to continue hearing the lives of Eva and Deuce with their kids, as I’m glad to know Eva has found some peace with her parents, Preacher and Wheels. :)
