Publisher's summary

Understanding the Dog's Mind Through Survival and Comfort is the manual to understanding a dog's mind and operating system. This book was created to help people understand beforehand what it takes to have a dog. My goal is to teach what goes into owning a dog to prevent the misunderstanding, typical life cycle that forces dogs to end up in the wrong situations. This book is also for the current owners who would like to make up for lost times with their dog and understand why they may be the way that they are (good and bad).

thought provoking

Great information all around that gets your mind thinking on how you shape a dog's world in everything that you do.

Understanding the mindset

I like how the mind is one of the biggest points in the book. Understand that a dog doesn’t think in human. Even if it’s a pet or guardian the dog learns all day because all it wants to do is survive. If you become one with the dog you can teach it anything

not a fan

This person seemed incredibly out of touch with how mentally and emotionally intelligent dogs actually are. I have lived with dogs my entire life and I would trust and prefer the company of dogs over humans. I have encountered many people who look at dogs like they are less than themselves. This book felt more like how to humanely keep a prisoner and get them to do things for you. This person is out of touch with the soul of the dog.
