What a beautiful story about strong women.

As I have come to expect with Jae's books this was just a magnificent read. The extra gift was to re-read it (actually listen) with Abby Craden doing the reading. I love Dee the misunderstood boss and Austen who sees her so clearly. They meet over a very inspiring accident and find feeling they cannot stuff down. The men in Dee's world expect her to carry all the shitty parts of their work load. None of them see the lonely life their greed expects her to live. Austen will help her see her worth and together see what life, love and happiness might look like. What a delicious journey between two awesome and brilliant woman.

Fabulous storyline and beautifully read. I enjoyed every chapter. Lovely romantic story told with tenderness.

My favorite book by Jae since Next of Kin! A sweet and low angst story. It had just enough humor, life lessons and romance to make it hard to stop listening. Abby Craden is phenomenal as usual! Oh and a guest appearance from two of my favorite characters from a previous book was an awesome surprise! Thank you for keeping us entertained , Jae!

Wow… so good

This was a story that could have had more pitfalls expressed, however it was a good listen. The end was a bummer and felt like the author got sick of writing, so they closed it up nice and neat.

Great audiobook!!!

I can’t believe I hesitated to buy this book. It had me hooked from beginning to end. As always Abby does a tremendous job with her narration. Loved every chapter.

Excellent

I read this book a few years ago and it became one of my favorites. With Abby redoing the audio, I'm sure I will listen to this audiobook more times in the future. Abby brings the characters to life like no other narrator does. It is worth a credit for sure.

Amazing story line and the characters. I feel like I was inside the story and visualizing the characters around me. Narrator did an incredible job of making it more realistic.

Loved this!!

Beautiful story, excellent MCs, and just the right amount of angst. Lots of sweetness from the characters, and I love that they communicate and support each other. It’s so refreshing to see a lesbian romance with minimal drama and the MCs act like adults who talk to each other and support each other. And of course, Abby Craden narrating just delicious.
