Publisher's Summary

Gaby Mortimer is the woman who has it all. But everything changes when she finds a body near her home. She's shaken and haunted by the image of the lifeless young woman and frightened that the killer, still at large, could strike again. Before long the police have a lead. The evidence points to a very clear suspect, one Gaby never saw coming.

Full of brilliant twists and turns, Under Your Skin is a dark and suspenseful psychological thriller that will make you second-guess everything. Because you can never be too sure about anything, especially when it comes to murder.

And then I understood

At its start and for several chapters I liked the book and then I became a little annoyed. Thinking "she's an idiot". On the verge of, "if she goes to jail-well, too bad and ha serves you right" but then.... It was worth it.
Definitely worth the read.
Thank you For a really good book.

I don't want to give anything away...

So I will simply say... well done! I enjoyed it, and it was worth the credit.

The other reviewers are right about the twists.

The woman finds a body. Sets off to investigate what happened herself...and then you start to guess. Well done.

Stupid Girl ?

Wow.
This was a great book.
I was honestly a annoyed with out main character Gaby, a lot of the book.
I kept thinking... if you are this stupid.. you may deserve jail.
She seems so.. out of touch, silly, and a little bit of an airhead.
I do not want to say anything else about this plot... just stick with it!
The narrator is amazing. She was easy to listen to, and helped the story flow.

Finally!! A really great book!!

This story kept me guessing until the very end!! Gabby is wrongly accused, but then you wonder the "circumstantial" evidence?
I've heard plenty of audiobooks lately that just don't keep my interest or they are so transparently simple or just poorly written.
This book was great!!

Different!

This is one of those books that is easy to predict, but still manages to surprise you. There needs to be a second book!

Hurry up and be over already!

Talk, talk, talk and go nowhere. While I thought I had everything figured out, that was not the case. The ending was a surprise, however the author managed to make even that much too long and drawn out. Nothing really happens in this book other than hours of unimportant talking. I found myself nodding off a half hour at a time and missing absolutely nothing.

I Should Have Stayed Home That Day!

What did you love best about Under Your Skin?

The last three chapters of the book, it nearly knocked me off my seat! I'm still thinking about it and smiling!!!

Who was your favorite character and why?

THE WIFE!!!!

Would you listen to another book narrated by Colleen Prendergast?

Eh? Didn't really impress me

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I don't want to say, because I was going to give this book two stars, but when I came to the end, I couldn't believe the imagination (I'm not going to say anymore, for fear of ruining this for others!)

Any additional comments?

What an ending!!!!

Finally, nape, not nape of the neck!

Thanks for the good English! Unfortunately that is very rare nowadays!
And very well performed!

I Like A Plot Twist, but...

The story kept me listening and I thought I had it figured out. However the twist at the end was thrown in without weaving believable elements throughout the story. The ending just didn’t track well with the way the story progressed. The narrator was ok but lacked any differentiation between characters making it hard to know who was saying what during dialogue.
