Publisher's Summary

Have you ever wrestled with how to respond to a boss or leader when you disagree? Do you ever wonder why you should listen to them in the first place?

In this newly revised and updated edition, best-selling author John Bevere reemphasizes for a new generation the protective boundaries God provides through authority figures. John reveals how the enemy tricks us into believing our true destinies can be found away from divine leadership by distorting our ability to recognize God's inherent authority and his delegated authority. By teaching us how to properly relate to leadership, John shows why living under authority provides a place where there is provision, protection, and hope for the future.

Under Cover will also help you discover:

  • How to avoid being entirely right yet somehow wrong
  • The biblical way to respond to and overcome unfair treatment

Complete with a brand-new chapter, discussion questions, and highlighted themes, Under Cover is a practical, life-transforming audiobook that reveals the importance of submission to God's authority and how to respond to the leaders in our lives.

I loved this book.

I enjoy hearing the author narrate his own books but this wasn't bad. I enjoyed the content and even the narrator keep me engaged!

I loved this book

Painful and tough pills to swallow but I can't argue with any of it. I don't know of any book besides the bible that has caused so much repentance in me. Thank you John Bevere for obeying God

Good Premise, Boring Delivery

This book's overall topic was about being obedient to God's direction. I understood that by the beginning of the book. I felt like the same thing was repeated in different ways throughout the book. In addition, the personal stories from the writer could have been summed up a little more. I often wondered when the point of the stories would come to light. In the end the book has a good principle, but I feel as though the teachings of this book could have been delivered in a few 5 minute videos on YouTube.

Wow!!!

This book is life changing. It teaches you the blessings you will receive by being submissive to authority. It shows is that God placed people in authority, and we should be obedient, and let God handle everything. This book is amazing for not only people in ministry. Everyone will benefit from this material! Wish I read this along time ago!!!
