Publisher's summary

One former Navy SEAL. One adventurous photographer. One lost jungle temple.

Former Navy SEAL Callum Ward has one motto - live life to the fullest. He saw the worst of war and lost good friends, but now he works for Treasure Hunter Security. When he's not providing security for archeological digs and invaluable museum exhibits, or off on daring treasure hunts, he's rock climbing, racing, or skiing. Nothing - and no one - has ever tempted him to slow down...until on an expedition into the Cambodian jungle, he has to work with one opinionated, prickly photographer, Dani Navarro. But soon their straightforward trek to find a lost temple turns deadly, and Cal and Dani find themselves under attack from a dangerous black-market antiquities ring prepared to kill.

Dani Navarro lives for her photography. For years, it's been her escape from her family and their frivolous lifestyle, affairs, and dramas. With her camera in hand, she travels the world, capturing other people's moments and avoiding messy entanglements. At first, she thinks Cal Ward is no different from all the other men she's known, but as their expedition turns into a hazardous dash through uncharted jungle, she uncovers a tough, intelligent, and sexy protector. Together, they must outwit their pursuers and find not only a lost temple...but a priceless, powerful artifact.

exploration and discovery in Cambodia

Love, love, love!

This second book picks up where we left off, but focuses on Callum this time. He is sent on a mission that should be routine because there seems to be no major valuables that would attract the unsavory Silk Road villians. This expedition to find the temple of God-King Jayavarman II in Cambodia.

Before he even gets started, Callum meets and is attracted to photographer Dani. He soon gets sidetracked, however, when he notices what look like members of Silk Road during a mugging attempt. The routine mission turns life-threatening when they realize that rumors of possibly finding King Jayavarmin II's actual Linga artifact have indeed caused Silk Road's unwanted attention.

As with Undiscovered, there is romance, suspense, and an mythical element that adds depth and credence to the story. Thoroughly enjoyable. Can hardly wait for the next one.
*On a side note, I'd just recently watched Expedition Unknown with Josh Gates which featured King Jayavarmin II, lingas, and nagas... which only enhanced my reading as Anna was dead on in her information.

Great Second in the series

Great follow up to Undiscovered. We leave the deserts of the Middle East for the jungles of Cambodia. I love the treasure hunter aspect and the touch of paranormal (legends must have a toe in reality, after all).
The writing is crisp and carries the reader through the action at a pace that leaves you stunned when you hit the conclusion. Stella Bloom is great bringing the characters to life and matching the flow of the writing
I can't wait for the next book.

GOOD

BOOK REVIEW......
Good story. The characters could have used with being a little more fleshed out. I didn't really feel like I knew them by the end of the story. But over all it was good

NARRATOR REVIEW......
Narrator did a good job

This series is a treasure for sure.

With summer upon us this book, the series is a great beach read.

Callum and Danny are witty, intriguing and so hot for each other sparks fly! Callum is former Navy Seal and natural protector and part owner of Treasure Hunter Security. Danny is a photographer and a self sufficient woman with an excellent eye for creating beautiful photographs. Callum is supplying protection for an expedition into Cambodia and Danny is to provide the pictures. Read Uncharted for a funny, sexy, exciting and relaxing day.

Thrilling Steamy Story!

This second book in the Treasure Hunter Security series is another thrilling, action packed adventure! This is Cal and Dani's suspenseful and sizzling story. Ex Navy Seal, Callum “Cal” Ward runs Treasure Hunter Security with his siblings. He lives life to the extreme, not wanting to settle down. He has been hired to protect a group going on an expedition into the Cambodian jungle. This group includes a courageous, prickly, sexy photographer, Dani Navarro, She would rather view life through the lense than intereact with insincere, shallow people. She gets one look at the charming, sexy security expert, and doesn't think he is any different. But as they get deeper into the jungle and encounter dangers of all kinds, Cal and Dani learn that first impressions can be deceiving. Dani discovers an honorable, kind, sexy protector who makes her desire things she never expected. Cal finds the brave, independant woman makes him want more as well. But a dangerous group of thieves are hot on their heels, wanting the priceless artifacts they are in search of. If the thieves don't kill them first, the dark, dangerous jungle just might. I am really loving this fast paced, exciting series. Just imagining these daring adventures to find fabled treasure is so provocative, and Hackett does a great job making us feel all the excitiment. Stella Bloom's fabulous narration also helps to make us feel like we are right there in the middle of all the action! She delivers all the excitement, emotion, wit, and steam, bringing these characters and story to life, beautifully. This was so much fun, I can't wait to listen to the next books in Teasure Hunter Security series!

Misconceptions vs. connection

Anna Hackett does not disappoint with this series!! She weaves wonderful stories full of action, physical attraction, and knowledge of historical sites without being boring. Dani and Callum’s relationship started with unfounded misconceptions about one another and developed into the loving connection both needed! Callum provided the protection and understanding Dani denied herself but really wanted. Dani provided the chase Callum desired while still maintaining her independent spirit!! Stella Bloom’s narration is excellent as always!!

Love it

Love the story and love the narrator. Super fast listen. Stella Bloom does an awesome job on each of the characters voices so there was no confusing parts about who was talking.

He hated jungles!

This second audiobook in this series was a great listen. There was an interesting storyline and good characters. The heroine is a photographer for an archeological expedition to Cambodia. The hero is their security and when they are ambushed in the jungle by Silk Road mercenaries, the adventures begin. Narration was well done!

Tricky book for narrating done exceptionally well!

I've already praised book #1 on how i love this team of Anna Hackett and Stella Bloom. SB has brought Anna's characters even more fun than they already were the first time reading them through. There is a wide variety of secondary characters with many accents, and I personally felt SB did an excellent job making it work, yet subtly as not to distract from the story. Great job all around for AH and SB!!

Looking forward to listening to the rest of the Series!
