Publisher's summary

Josh

  1. Here’s some advice for surviving your ex’s wedding weekend:
  2. Just smile and nod whenever someone lays on the sympathy
  3. Stay away from tequila
  4. Don’t make out with any of your ex’s brothers

Whoops.

Connor Kelly sure has changed over the past eight years. He’s no longer the scrawny emo kid I remember from before he moved away; and, oh yeah, apparently he’s into guys now...

But it doesn’t matter how hot Connor is, or how funny, or how charming - he’s my ex’s brother and that means he’s off limits.

It doesn’t seem like anyone’s ever explained that rule to Connor, though...

When he calls one day begging for my help, I’m expecting it to be yet another ploy in his effort to get me to go out with him. Cue my surprise when I find a shell-shocked Connor with a baby he claims is his son.

As if it weren’t already hard enough resisting Connor, watching the way he connects and bonds with his son is going to make it damn near impossible...

Warning: This audiobook is not appropriate for anyone who doesn’t like laughing, anyone who doesn’t like babies, or anyone who doesn’t like when sexy nerds, and hot bearded men have a ton of scorching hot sex.

Happily ever after included.

The baby scenes were the best!

Another Kelly brother, another sweet story! Kelly Family friend and ex-boyfriend of Declan, Josh is not keen to get entangled with Connor, the youngest Kelly brother, but Connor has other ideas. When Connor discovers he has a baby son, Josh’s early childhood expertise might just save the day. I didn’t warm to Josh immediately, but I understood his reluctance to make a mess and he really grew on me over time. On the other hand, I warmed to Connor immediately - I loved his can-do attitude and his lack of hesitation - but I was disappointed when he bulldozed his way through the ‘big miscommunication’ towards the end of the story without consulting Josh. I’m also getting tired of each couple talking about their sex lives in front of everyone, it was often inappropriate, but at times it was just plain insensitive. As acknowledged in the author’s postscript, you need to suspend a lot of belief about everyone’s decisions, but the baby scenes were super cute and fun and those, much more than the romance, got me over the bumpy plot. Audio narrator Michael Dean excelled himself here, he really is superb.
