Harry Bosch, exiled from the LAPD, is working cold cases for the San Fernando Police Department when all hands are called out to a local drugstore, where two pharmacists have been murdered in a robbery. Bosch and the tiny town's three-person detective squad sift through the clues, which lead into the dangerous, big-business world of prescription drug abuse. To get to the people at the top, Bosch must risk everything and go undercover in the shadowy world of organized pill mills.
Meanwhile, an old case from Bosch's days with the LAPD comes back to haunt him when a long-imprisoned killer claims Harry framed him and seems to have new evidence to prove it. Bosch left the LAPD on bad terms, so his former colleagues are not keen on protecting his reputation. But if this conviction is overturned, every case Bosch ever worked will be called into question. As usual, he must fend for himself as he tries to clear his name and keep a clever killer in prison.
The two cases wind around each other like strands of barbed wire. Along the way, Bosch discovers that there are two kinds of truth: the kind that sets you free and the kind that leaves you buried in darkness.
Tense, fast-paced, and fueled by this legendary detective's unrelenting sense of mission, Two Kinds of Truth is proof positive that "Connelly writes cops better than anyone else in the business" (New York Post).

This book is outstanding. Great having Titus Welliver narrate. Michael Connelly at his best with both Bosch and Haller involved.

Outstanding!

Good story line. Love Harry's character. Do not understand the need for the crude language. It does not enhance the characters nor the story line.

I’ve read or listened to every book in Connelly’s Harry Bosch series. I’m a cynic and keep waiting for the first time Connelly merely mails it in. Hasn’t happened yet. Two Kinds of Truth is a tightly written, character consistent work that is as enjoyable a listen as any in the series. As for the reader, Titus Welliver is a perfect Bosch, especially if you watch the Harry Bosch series on Amazon.

Another Great Harry Bosch

This is the first book that I’ve listened to through audio. Made me comfortable that I made a great decision.

Great book

Excellent as always. My first audio book as I have always read the hard copies going back to the start. Never disappointed...other than the sad fact that the story is over and I have to wait for the next book...which, I assume will be about Daisy. Also, I just watched all the Bosch TV series and it was fun to listen to Mr Welliver do the book. He is a great Harry Bosch.

Damn he's good!

I just love Titus's Bosch. The intertwining stories and characters are enjoyable and I root for them.

Fun

Harry is right in the middle of it again, and he does not disappoint! My only gripe is the story, masterfully narrated by Titus Welliver, was too short for my taste.
Michael, give us more"color commentary" of LA and the surrounding area. And maybe broaden Harry's base of operations... The OC Sheriff's Department could use his disruptive influence.!

Harry... A cop's cop!

I love the Bosch books and TV show. Narrated well , and overall a good listen. However , it feel a bit short and rushed , not really fleshed out and an intro to set the stage for a forthcoming book

Seems like a “fill in” book

I greatly enjoyed this work. The story and the narration are top-notch. I typically only purchase one audible book per month and I always look for a good one and this did not disappoint.

Very well done

Great listen made even clearer from new Netflix series with same reader as Harry Bosch.

Pure Bosch
