Honest & beautifully performed
Honest story that taps into emotions and conflict that other authors avoid but many families deal with. The narrator performed the story beautifully, and further developed memorable characters.

Fabulous summer book!!
Great great writing. Well drawn WASP world that is simultaneously outlandish, scandalous and intriguing. The narrator's voice is immeasurably soothing and entertaining. I was riveted from beginning to end. Basically listened on my commute every day for two weeks and was sad when it ended.

Great summer listen!
Wonderful portrayal of complicated family relationships and keeping up appearances. Unpredictable story line and subplots that kept me guessing and were satisfyingly juicy and light.

Eww!
Made me so uncomfortable.
I’m no prude but the relationship between those kids was giving me the creeps. And I could see where this story was headed. While I wanted to know how the plot was brought to its conclusion, the in-between suffering I would be submitting myself to just is not worth it.
