Kari Adelberg is happy. She has her friends, family, and a dog. What else could she need? At least, that’s what she keeps telling herself, unwilling to think about what she lost until it ends up next door to her.

Kacey Caldwell was the one that got away. They were college sweethearts and had plans for the future until Kacey ripped those plans apart with no explanation. Now, she and her young daughter own the house next door to Kari’s, and Kari is not sure how to act.

Should she keep herself closed off like she has the past 10 years or open up her heart at the risk of being hurt all over again? Kari has so many questions that only Kacey has the answers to, but she’s not sure if she’s ready to get them, afraid of the pain and heartbreak that could come along with it. She has to decide the answer to the age-old question: Is love worth the risk?

A second chance romance filled with love, angst, and one big HEA.

I love the story I think it's super sweet. However I hate hate hate the voice the narrator used for Casey's voice.

Great story. Narration not so much

This was simply a wonderful love story. I had a super wonderful full little girl that was helpful in helping the main characters to recognize the love they were feeling

I thought this was a well written story with lots of different storylines. Some overly gushy moments that had me rolling my eyes, but that's to be expected. What threw me off was the naration. She has such a pretty voice but her version of one of the main characters sounds like a dopy guy. Otherwise, she did a good job of differentiating the characters.

Good story odd naration

This is such a well-written, sweet tale. Can second chances at romance really work out? Beautifully developed characters and relationships, drama and humor drew me in and made me listen non-stop. And Kenna Faelynn's narration wraps you up like a warm hug, her characters whispering their secrets in your ears. Shivers!

Make yourself comfortable.

I liked the story, a little confusing at first but was a good story, well written and I liked the characters even the minor ones.
I couldn’t care less for the narration, a boring monotone voice, very slow, I needed to raise the speed of reading... because it was so slow I fell asleep...

Good story
