I LOVED this book.
I didn't care as much for book 1. it was a bit flat and sad. This too was sad at times, heartwrenchingly so but so much more. Not only exciting but joyous, funny and swoonworthy romantic. Tje first real kiss these to share is so well written you'll be able to feel it...sigh! I replayed just that moment. 😆
Narration terrific as usual. Definitely a favorite!

WONDERFUL STORY

Justice Eyre reads this in her usual faux English accent, with poor Scottish accents for the characters but you do get used to it. more war and strategy than romance in the Highlands. Good to see relationships between appropriately consenting adults. some strong language and sexual scenes.
