When deputy sheriff turned private investigator Spider Latham is sent to help the Red Pueblo Museum, he doesn't suspect it'll cause a rift between his wife, Laurie, and himself.

Museum Director Martin Taylor is desperate, and his son Matt is angry. Some unknown person is bent on destroying the museum financially and is about to succeed. Things turn violent. It ends with someone's skull bashed in with an Anasazi ax, and everyone has a motive for the murder.

Can Spider untangle the web of secrecy and lies surrounding the museum before the Taylors lose it all? And, in the process, can he save his own marriage?

What did you like best about Trouble at the Red Pueblo? What did you like least?

I liked the story ended. I did not like the narrator, it sounded like she was chewing gum and her voice did not portray the characters.

What did you like best about this story?

This story felt like it would NEVER end. I liked how the author portrayed racism and auto judgement and how they were proved wrong.

Would you be willing to try another one of Tanya Mills’s performances?

NO her performance was too dry for me in addition to the comments made earlier.

Do you think Trouble at the Red Pueblo needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No, it concluded nicely.

How could the performance have been better?

After the acknowledgements, I couldn't get past the first minute. The narrator was too dry and soft-spoken. Just couldn't stay with it.

This book is the first I've read by Liz Adair, but it definitely won't be the last! Ms. Adair Knows how to tell a story that will both hold a reader's attention and keep him guessing as he reads. She also knows how to create wonderful characters and bring them to life as they advance her plot. She rolls out the rugged western landscape, creating the perfect stage on which her characters can perform. If you're looking to get lost in a good story, grab a copy of this book. It's a difficult one to put down.

Where does Trouble at the Red Pueblo rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I loved listening to Trouble at the Red Pueblo because Liz Adair has such a great talent of painting a picture with her very descriptive words. The writing is excellent and I didn't want to stop listening. It was Riveting.

It's fun to have the story take place in locations that I have been in Southern Utah, Arizona and Nevada.

What other book might you compare Trouble at the Red Pueblo to and why?

It's a great addition to the rest of the Spider Latham books.

Have you listened to any of Tanya Mills’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Tanya Mills did a superb job of narrating the story. Her performance made this truly a first class product.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Spider Latham's web of relationships solves the case.
