Maybe just not for me.

Idk, I didn’t love this. I feel like maybe I would’ve liked it more if I didn’t listen to it and had read it instead but I’m not sure. The dual narration did not seem balanced to me. The fmc did too much and the mmc did too little. The writing; the main characters just seemed incredibly immature. Also that twist? Idkkkk it didn’t hit and I love magical realism. I also don’t understand why Katie didn’t cut her mother out years and years ago. The mom was awful to her when she was a kid and even more after her brother died. She was an afterthought. This just wasn’t for me.

Fun story with a great twist at the end

The beautify of this story was all of the cheesy romance was there to remind us that we love cheesy romance! Enjoyed how it was written. Could have moved more quickly, but hey, we had to get through every trope. I enjoyed many of her voices, but didn’t like the reader’s version of Katie’s voice, she sounded drunk most of the time.

Just WOW!

This was just fantastic, the book and the duet narration was just perfection! Must read and must listen!!

Decent

The primary female narrator was very difficult for me to listen to, the male narrator was nice & the feature narrator was the absolute best portion of the audio. The story was good at the beginning and the “twist” was not great nor necessary in my opinion. I did not like the ending, but would not say it ruined the story either. Overall a decent read/listen — I wish I would have read the book myself rather than listen to the female narrator however.

Horrible narration

I wanted to love this - but the female narrator was terrible. She made it awkward and very difficult to listen to. The male narrator was okay. Overall, poorly narrated which kind of ruined the book.
