Exciting stories too much sex

The stories verged on fated mates without saying it outright. I enjoyed the stories but the large number of sexual encounters actually interfered with the story. The characters were varied and multidimensional. I found myself forwarding through a lot of the unnecessary sexual content but I am curious about how the series ends so I will continue listening and forwarding.

The Narrators voice is so strange in this one

The female's voice sounds annoyingly like the Vexling's in other stories and the male's voice has a SUPER annoying fake Southern accent of some sort. This is the first in this series that the narrators voice has been surprisingly annoying. All the others have been great, I don't understand this change.

Tana Stone always delivers!

I am not usually fond of Solo narration and I hardly ever purchase books with only one narrator, but the fact that the books in this series came in bundles of 3 or more got me to do it. Not to mention the fact that Tana Stone does alien romance so well. There is always a great mix of story and steam, action and adventure, resistance and romance! This compilation was no different. I enjoyed all three books and bought the next set as well. I can’t wait to find out what happens next.

Like I said, solo narration isn’t usually my jam, but Jodie Bentley is a standout. Her vocal range and accent work brought the cast to life—especially Shreya’s British lilt, which added charm and authenticity. Bentley’s ability to differentiate characters made the listening experience immersive and enjoyable. I wasn’t fond of every single voice in all the books, but at least she didn’t use the same one for every male and every female character.
