Publisher's Summary

General Treyvon Rayner is the Supreme Commander of the Kaliszian Defenses. He is the cousin and trusted friend of the Kaliszian Emperor, Emperor Liron Kalinin, in spite of Treyvon's ancestor being one of the causes of the Great Infection so many centuries ago. It is never far from Treyvon's mind, and he vowed he'd spend his entire life trying to make things right. Chef Jennifer Neibaur dreamed of traveling to exotic places, of experiencing different cuisines, and learning how to prepare them. Her dream came true, but at a high price. She lost her sister. Her husband died. And she was severely injured. All that was enough for her to welcome death. But for a chef to end up in a place where food was just sustenance, and never something enjoyed, was the ultimate punishment. Two strong, honorable people are both trying to find forgiveness and redeem themselves for things that were out of their control. Neither is looking for love. But if they can accept it, the forgiveness they find might be for more than just themselves.

This Was A Great Story Just Like "Grim"!!!!!

What made the experience of listening to Treyvon the most enjoyable?

This was a great story! Listening to this story was just like the first time I ever listened to "Grim"! I loved the story line and how it connected back to "The Tornians".

What did you like best about this story?

I enjoyed the love story between Trayvon and Jen. It was also nice to keep up with the previous couples as well. I really enjoyed the action/adventure that took place, as well as, the deeper meaning of forgiveness, rebirth, and growth brought forth in the book.

What about the narrators’s performance did you like?

I really enjoy listening to the multiple narrator's. It makes a story sound like it should with different people playing the different characters. It reminds me of when people used to listen to radio shows back in the day with all the wonderful sound effects, along with the actors. It just really makes the story come alive!!! Not only do I hear the story but my imagination is also very, very, richly fed!!!!

Any additional comments?

M.K. Eidem please, please keep writing books like this and having them narrated with sound effects this way!!!!
Audible as a long-time satisfied customer I also ask that you would please, please consider encouraging even more authors to have their books narrated with sound effects this way and put on Audible!!!!!!!!
Sometimes I wonder how even better it would have been to listen to a series like "The Black Dagger Brotherhood", with the wonderful narration it already has if sound effects had also been added?

Narrator for Jenn leaves much to be desired

Her narration ruins all possible enjoyment for me.
She sounds dead in spirit. I returned the book

Jennifer & Treyvon's story

This story continues directly after Nikhil. We get to find out more details of what happened to Kim's sister Jennifer when she & her group disappeared. Treyvon's troops keep searching Pontus for Ganglian & Zaludian activity & figure out why they are cooperating. Jennifer & Treyvon grow closer- VERY close- and become True Mates in between chocolate, & meetings with Goddesses and Gods. Pontus reawakens. Treyvon & Jennifer go to meet with Emperor Wray and His Empress with mutually surprising revelations. Can't wait to read/hear the next installment, whether Callan & Rebecca or Ull & ?. Do want a peek into Oryon & Isis- did the Goddess give them a surprise? I could just envision twin girls! And Valli (sigh- he so deserves happiness!) LOVE the ensemble recording. It's so much "richer" of a performance. I've been checking almost daily to purchase the audio recording immediately since the book was released & read. Recommend all MKE books, all formats!

Liked the story but not the female narrator

Any additional comments?

I liked the story. It’s the female narrator that could be better. Mackenzie sounds so fake. It doesn’t sound as natural as the male narrator.

Engaging and Entertaining

I can wholeheartedly recommend this series. I've listened to them all twice! They're more fun if you read them in order but even if you don't, it's easy to keep the events and characters straight. The warriors and earth women are a great fit. Like always, the "females" teach the aliens everything that's worth knowing about love....and chocolate!

Think I’ve read too many Tornian/Kalezian Books

Have read the full list of both series’...gonna need a break. Found the book to be way too long, predictive and repetitive. Tons of strong, worthy and insecure males.

Best Audio book Ever

I truly enjoyed this audio book. I loved they used male voices for the men and female voices for the women. They took care ot details like the sound of wind, water, moving vehicles and etc which made me able to really fall in the story whiout the distraction of a whiny male voice imitating a women or a women taking funny to imitate a male voice. The story was great.. I highly recommend this audio book to everyone.

A fantastic combination of two different series

Please do not let this be the end. It was a great HEA ending. But there is still a lot more that was left unsaid. Treyvon was a wonderful audiobook . The narrators were fantastic and made it a fantastic visual and audio book. But now that you have combined th e series please, please continue. I love all your books and audio. I do appreciate all you put into making your audio listening so unique. Thank you Ms. Eidem. I hope there will be another audiobook soon. I recommend highly on all M. K. Eidem books. I have listened
to this audiobook before, but didn't realize that didn't leave a review. If you are a new reader to Eidem's books, don't hesitate to buy, she is fantastic, you won't regret it.

Treyvon

I loved this book from start to finish, the way both main character's fought their mutual attraction for each other was very well written. The finding of Jen's sister at the end was an excellent way to end the story can't wait for the next book in the series...

Absolutely Fantastic

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Great narration and interpretation of the book.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Have to admit I loved the Emperor he's fun and not stuffy, can't wait for him to get his own book.

What about the narrators’s performance did you like?

I love the fact there wasn't just one narrator it brought the story more to life for me.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book made to both laugh and cry, the interaction between characters is so realistic and intense.

Any additional comments?

I love all of M.K. Eidems' books to date her characters are well thought out and interact so well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend any of her books she's an absolute fantastic writer and I can't wait for her next release.

another fabulous installment of M K Eidem's world

I am addicted to these books and waited for the audio version to come out before buying as the production and sound effects add so much to the story. The author always finishes every storyline to the readers satisfaction. I love the way the different peoples and worlds are interwoven but most importantly i love the characters and their happy endings more!!

Heartbreaking with HEA

Treyvon is a fantastic read. It has everything a broken and tortured heroine and a lonely, kind but deadly supreme commander of an empire coming together in this compelling book. I love it, the characters are diverse and Michelle you managed to craft a storyline in which you introduced so
Many characters not and still you make it so believable. I feel their pains, happiness and every other emotions that they are conveying. I have laugh so hard and cried and scream. Your narrators are fantastic in their own portrayal. I can't wait for the next book pls let it be soon :)
