The main issue that Transformed by the Spirit addresses is the need for us, as Christians, to develop our relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, through the various spiritual disciplines and through the power of the Holy Spirit. We are in union with Christ at conversion, yet we will not be fully perfected in Christ until he returns; therefore, we must always work towards christlikeness in an effort to become fully mature Christians who comprise a fully mature church (Ephesians 4:1-16).

Becoming Christlike In a Broken World
In Pastor Craig Prather's book: Transformed by the Spirit. It is based on the the relationship between us Jesus and the Holy Spirit and how the Holy Spirit can guide us with discernment and wisdom in every aspect of it. He walks us through his personal steps of his life and faith and how the Holy Spirit can be instrumental and much needed throughout it. This book is also a wonderfully blessed counseling book for all believers as Pastor Craig walks us though many facets of Christianity, Biblical fixes and application to our own personal lives and our walk. It is articulately written, passionate and authentic representation of our Christian walk and navigating through it, ultimately to become Christlike.
