Publisher's summary

One man. Two worlds. Last chance.

On the edge of a far frontier rests a place of gentle manners and common civility - Last Chance. Threats of war change all of that. A hero is needed. A savior.

Meet Aaron Turner, the unassuming man who runs the Last Chance General Store. He may not be all that they hoped for.

Traitor is the first book in The Turner Chronicles.

I couldn't get lost in this story.

Unfortunately, this book wasn't written for my enjoyment. There was far too much I couldn't accept, in this story. I'm not a harem fan. And, I absolutely detest unions not based on love. Because, in my reality, love is the only true concrete binder for a sustainable marriage.
But, if a person enjoys harems, this is probably a good book for you.
