No Comforting Touches

Each book in this series hits me in a different way... The idea of not being able to receive even the briefest of comfort in the smallest of touches just breaks my heart. And to find someone who can love you anyway, that helped mend my heart. Ireland and Raven were compelling characters and this story with its ups and downs, kept me completely engaged. As always, Adam Gold offers a top-notch performance. The combination of Adam Gold and Nicky James is magic.

Beautiful

This one just hit me harder. I really empathized with Ireland and his struggles and of course then there’s Raven - a little older with endless patience. I just ADORED them and their journey.

Out of the 3 so far, even though I related most to book 1, this one has been my favorite.

The emotional depth and tension are next level between these 2 and I couldn't get enough. I'd listen to several more books just to hear more of their lives. ughhh they're beautiful.

In this book, you get to see someone in active therapy, someone already working on their progress rather than in the past 2, beginning to work through it, and the change is really nice and a great development. It felt very real with setbacks and the anxiety, and I appreciate the authors diligence for a full, thought out story- especially considering the main "protagonist" here, and the resolution. Many authors would have chosen different, traditional, endings for Ireland, and this feels incredibly authentic.

I will be reading this one again. The narration brings it to life and the story of the 2 is just top tier. 10/10!

100% perfection

I am going to miss River and Ireland. These two men will dive into your heart, and lodge in there for good. What a moving, heartbreaking, and beautiful story. How can you go wrong with something written so perfectly by Nikki James and narrated by a master Adam Gold?. Absolute perfection, highly highly recommended.

Loved Ireland and Raven's story and the narration was perfect. This is a great series.
