An excellent audiobook.. I loved the friendship between Derrick and Char and the hot and steaminess between Char and Riley.. I am getting the follow up book.

Mis-Categorized - Good For A Young Adult Except...

Would you try another book from T. H. Snyder and/or Meghan Kelly?

I'm on the fence with this book. It was really good and under the category of 'Contemporary Romance. It was a sweet story and a bit unique which is hard to do in this day and age, I enjoyed it.

However there was not much 'romantic' action until almost 3/4 of the way into the book. As quickly as it arrives, it is over - it is descriptive but not overly graphic. But it was certainly more that you would find in the young adult romance, I would hope.

I am not a reader of young adult books because I'm a grown up. :-) I cannot say or compare this to anything in that genre. However I would consider it a well-written young adult book with several mature scenes.

Megan Kelly is an exceptional performer and I am very impressed with her narration. The author wrote in a way where the male point of view is expressed and then the female point of view is expressed. Meghan's female was almost perfect and her performance of male was very believable. I am always impressed and respect performers who are able to perform the opposite gender in a believable way. When I forget the gender of the performer because I am listening to the story that is a good sign.

Credit worthy/ $: *I was given this copy in exchange for my thoughts and this review.* If I had purchased it I may have been unhappy. I would not spend a credit on it nor would I recommend to anyone who likes the genre I love.

I would recommend this for those who like young adult (with reservation - for the mature scenes.)

I WILL be looking for more of this narrators work.

Yes pulls you in and makes you wanna keep with it to find out what will happen next. Want to hear more when it's over.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Touch Me?

When they happen to keep running into each other in random places. How they hated each other at first and how that grew from there.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite part was probably when he took her out to dinner at the pub and she surprises him with the tickets and signed ball.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. I was listening to this at work. And when my shift was over I ended up going home and finishing the book!

Can't wait to see if there is more for char and rylee! I will watch for more!

Didn't keep my interest

There wasn't anything really wrong with this book. It simply didn't have a hook to keep my interest. Another annoying detail was the lack of contractions, which made the dialogue sound stilted. I don't know any mid-20 year olds that speak that way.

As usual, Meghan Kelly does an excellent job as narrator. Honestly, it was her terrific ability that lessened the annoyance of the lack of contractions.

Sweet and Relaxing

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I would. It is a very well written and narrated love story between two people, who had already difficult stories left behind them. They meet, fall in love instantly and their story even if it is easy and relaxing and sweet and definitely a romantic one, is not boring at all and flows beautifully.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I liked both Riley and Char, and I surely liked Derrick a lot too.

What does Meghan Kelly bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Meghan Kelly brings life to the characters. She has an awesome, husky voice, does male and female voices equally well, an excellent performance once again. I think (because it's not the first book narrated by Meghan Kelly that I've heard) she is evolving through them and her performance is even better in this one.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Actually, it was in two sittings (because of the holiday season) but yes, it could be easily in one sitting.

Thank you very much T.H Snyder and Meghan Kelly for this book, I am looking forward to hearing the second one :D
