These eight lectures address two important questions: When is someone else legally responsible for harm done to you? When are you legally responsible for harm done to someone else? This course of eight lectures discusses torts, the body of law designed to redress through civil litigation harms done to persons. As with all bodies of law, in order to analyze the legal implications of a potentially tortious action, it is necessary to blend common sense and pragmatic thinking with an understanding of legal definitions as they have evolved over time.

Story
Americans wage many of today’s fiercest policy debates and culture wars over constitutional meaning. It’s because constitutional law is so fundamental to our democracy that law schools across the country teach the subject. It's the area of law that determines what federal and state governments are permitted to do, and what rights you have as an individual citizen of the US. Here, you'll get the same accessible, well-rounded introduction to constitutional law as a typical law student - but with the added benefit of noted constitutional scholar Eric Berger's brilliant insights.

Great study tool - for Paralegals, too!
I needed to brush up before I took a certification exam for Paralegals, and this was great! The simplistic overview and examples helped me get a few more answers than I would have if I hadn't listened beforehand - it's been six years since I took the class as part of my certificate program. I work with probate, trusts, and estates - not litigation - so I haven't had to deal with these concepts since school.
I would highly recommend this for anyone looking to brush up with a quick overview.

Mostly Accurate with Childish Examples
Most of the information given, in my opinion, was accurate, however there were some examples given that were highly debatable. They were presented as fact when I believe they were merely opinion or at the very least not applicable to all jurisdictions. The reading was mundane at best and involved juvenile examples sprinkled throughout involving comic book characters. One example involves Superman hurling Lois Lane's home into outer space in order to save the neighborhood from fire. I found such examples as this ridiculous and distracting.
