Piper's mother and stepfather died in an accident leaving her 2 minor age stepbrothers orphans. Piper steps up to the plate and tries to be the older sister/mother figure that they need – this includes leaving her job and moving across several state lines. Piper finds a job as a caregiver/companion to an elderly woman. The pay isn't great but she is not in it for the money.

After we learn about this, Piper is in an over-the-top sex club looking for a man to dominate her. While acting out a scene with a dominant male, she sees Holden and is instantly attracted to his domineering presence.

Low and behold, the next day – her 1st day – at her job, her elderly lady's son stops in for a visit. Guess who??? You have it, Holden the outrageously sexy and rich guy from the club.

From the moment Holden officially meets Piper he sets out to destroy her credibility as he doesn't want someone ' like her' taking care of his beloved mother.

What ensues is horrible treatment by Piper to Holden and Holden to Piper the only casualty being Holden's mother. Will they get together, will they stay together or do they hate each other? Yes, yes & yes.

Other reviewers have been a bit naïve when reviewing this book. If you enjoy the D/s types of stories, I think that you will like this one. However, if BDSM isn't your cup of tea, you probably will not care for it.

Performance was very good.

Recommend/credit worthy? I would recommend this to my friends who enjoy over the top erotica. I deem that it is credit worthy. The characters are both hateful and lovable throughout and the end is the twist. If you don't mind mature themes and language, are the 18-year-old plus category I believe you will like this 15 hour story and find it worthy.

Dark and Bad Boy Romance

loved this book! Its suspenseful at times, moments can be happy or sad, even holden the bad boy will make you mad at times! The chemistry between the two is off the charts! definitely worth reading!! At my request i was given a copy of this book for free and therefore have left this unbiased review!

Torn - It's how I felt too!

This book was different than I expected but I did like it. The feelings between Holden and Piper are extreme. It’s either extreme hate or extreme lust but nothing in between for most of the book. There was more BDSM scenes than vanilla because that’s what the main characters are into so if you don’t like BDSM than I would say this book probably isn’t for you. The book was good though, it held my interest to the end but there was quite a bit of drama between the main characters. Holden seemed a little extreme with the amount of anger he had towards Piper but I’ve heard much more in other books. If I had to compare this book to another I would say it’s similar to Fifty Shades of Gray with the exception that Piper knows about and participates in the BDSM scene. I would listen to another book by Sky Corgan and if you enjoy the Fifty Shades Series than there’s a good chance you’d like this one too.

Loved this book!

Love hate, love hate. that is how I felt about Holland. The author did a great job keeping me torn between my feelings for him.
Piper on the other hand, I didn’t like to much the first two chapters. I really didn’t like the way she treated her brothers. but by the 3rd chapter she warmed up to me once I found why she was acting the way she was. and started getting nicer to her brothers.

I loved the build up between those two. it kind of reminded me of one step forward, two steps back.
Holland can totally go over the lines at times, and maybe can push things to far, but i think thats what makes there hot sex, hot.

I liked the story line in this book. its a great BDSM fantasy, with a lot of great play, and sex involved.

I thought the narrator did a great job! I would listen to her and read anther book from this author again.
I am really starting to love this author.
