Publisher's Summary

When she was young, Serena Lewis was uprooted from the life she knew. Her parents took her from everything and everyone she loved, including her best friends...her cousins. Rebelling against the change, Serena became a young woman she knew her family wouldn’t like. Now that she's moving back home, she hopes to keep that part of herself in the past and become the woman she's meant to be.

Jed Monroe is a self-made man. Forced to grow up at a young age, he's always taken care of himself and worked to get what he needed. Working construction has given him stability, but working with wood is where his passion truly lies.

On the outside, petite and perfect Serena and rough and hardworking Jed have nothing in common. When Serena moves into the house next door, Jed is determined to ignore the sexy art-gallery manager, who he just knows will be a pain in his ass. But their shared loved of creating beauty from pain, along with the intangible chemistry that fires whenever they’re in the same space, forces them to dig beneath the surface to find their vulnerability.

Jed will soon see that whether he likes Serena or not, she’s too enchanting to ignore.

Too Enchanting is the fourth title in an all-new small-town romance series by Bethany Lopez. Follow the Lewis cousins of Cherry Springs, the kind of place where there are festivals for every occasion and everyone knows your business, as they learn about love and loss.

Cute romantic love-hate story

Serena is a gorgeous and petite woman that has had to create a mean exterior in order to survive certain changes in her life. When she moves back home, hunky Jed is her neighbour and they both start off hating each other. The tides quickly turn when they find they share common interests and an intense chemistry when they are in the same room.

This was a cute romantic story. The characters have a hate-love thing going on adding to their chemistry. The story moved along at a good pace and kept me interested throughout.

Holly narrated very well and had great intonation. She made the story more enjoyable for me.

Once you give a Lewis your heart ...

Bethany Lopez continues to enchant. The Lewis family is compelling entertainment. Just when you have them figured out, they throw curveballs to prove we never had a clue. Too Enchanting is cousin Serena's coming out party. Rena is a constantly changing mass of contradictions. She's a mercurial, frustrating, misunderstood lost soul. She has a heart full of love to give, but the risk is too much for her to handle. She knows how to make a bad impression, yet there's more to her than meets the eye. Jed sees her at her worst, but can also bring out her best. Once you give a Lewis your heart, there is no turning back.

Great Story!

Serena Lewis moved back to the small town of Cherry Springs to manage an art gallery. She loved the cousins that lived there and wanted to start a new life. Then she met her next door neighbor Jed Monroe. He worked with wood and she was an artist. Would the rough construction worker and the dainty lady find a common ground? Holly did a great job narrating it!

Sweet and entertaining

Serena Lewis is back in Cherry Springs to open up an art gallery for a silent investor. He has given her carte blanche on the whole project. She is a little skeptical considering she has never met the man, but she is excited to show him her skill and what she can do.

Jed Monroe is her neighbor, he works construction but also builds furniture as a side business. He hopes to run his own business one day to sell his pieces, but for now it's just a hobby.

These two are somewhat enemies to lovers, they don't like each other in the beginning and the first meet is a bit ugly. Then they find themselves working together on a project and things heat up. It is sweet and easy. The chemistry is fun and flirty. I enjoyed the Lewis cousins and all their fun, easy family ties.

Holly Holt did great! Her voice was smooth and easy to listen to, she really gave the characters life.

Can't wait to read the rest of the series!

I loved this story. It went by much too quick for me. I loved the character development, loved the close family relationship of all of the cousins and their significant others, the main characters. Apparently this is book 4, so I'm super excited to catch up on the three that I missed. It could definitely be listened to as a standalone, but I'm sure the backstory of the cousins would make it even better. I really enjoyed listening to the narrator Holly's voice as well. So pleasant, able to pull off the males and the females. Great story, great narration!!

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Recommended

Serena & Jed make an excellent couple. Both artists of a sort. They have strong ideas about what makes a good person which causes them some problems.

This is the first story of the 'Lewis Cousins'. Although this is a standalone story, I can tell there are some previous great stories. I need to go back and start at the beginning again.

Holly Holt did a fantastic job bringing the story to life. She is clear spoken with appropriate tone and pacing.

I recieved a free Audible copy of this story in exchange for a honest review.

Loved Jed and Serena!

Too Enchanting is a sweet, small town romance and book 4 in this series. Serena, the cousin who has always lived out of town, has moved back to Cherry Springs and right next door to Jed, which leads to some fun neighborly antics between these two. What follows next is a romance that is just very sweet. Can't wait for the next book!
The narrator did a great job with this book.

A Cute Small Town Romance

Too Enchanting is the fourth standalone in the Lewis Cousins series from Bethany Lopez. It's the second book I've listened to, since I seem to be skipping around this series. Even though I'm not listening/reading the books in order, I have no issues following around and enjoying the stories.

Jed and Serena's story was perfect for a short, light-hearted read. I really enjoyed following along with their romance and watching Jed push past Serena's walls. The Lewis cousins are such a fun family to read about. They're joking around and love for each other always makes for a great time. Too Enchanting is a sweet, steamy read with relatable characters and enjoyable banter.
