Publisher's summary

Toddler Weaning is a short, to-the-point book about gradually weaning a breastfeeding toddler, designed by a teacher and mom of two. It's perfect for nursing moms of toddlers who are considering weaning (and may need help deciding if they are ready to stop breastfeeding) or are ready to wean but need help planning how to wean.

The book offers a discussion of how to decide to wean (including why you may not want to wean), why weaning can be difficult, and the case for weaning gradually. It offers a path to making it happen over the course of a few months, starting with night weaning and finishing in fully weaning.

Here's a look at the chapters in this audiobook:

  • Deciding to Wean
  • Why Weaning Can Be Hard
  • The Case for Gradual Weaning
  • How to Night Wean
  • How to Wean a Toddler in 6-8 Weeks

The book includes a bonus chapter with resources on breastfeeding and female fertility. It offers a gentle, gradual approach to weaning that can be modified to lead to weaning success within six to eight weeks (or less, if you choose). This book is not the only, or even necessarily the best, path to toddler weaning, but it's one approach that might prove helpful, useful, or at least, informative for moms looking for this kind of information.

Too long with useless info

This could have been a one page article. Somewhat useful description is in Chapter 6.

Not what it’s advertised

It says more of why not do it and gives you more anxiety than solutions

Helpful in a concise way

I like that it was down to the point and very practical. Gave me some encouragement to see how it will be possible to wean my toddler. The book took me From having no clue about how to start to feeling confident that it will work.
