Quite good

I would say this is 60/40 romance/mystery. The mystery is fascinating with many twists and turns. The main character are well thought out and multifaceted. The other characters who interact with them are not as well developed but they interact with as if they know them much better then we do.

After a bit action at the very start it slows down for a while. Don’t give up it gets so much better and is definitely worth your time. However, it is more of an emotional story with less dialogue then typical. But it’s just dipping with intense emotions.
The narrator is outstanding.
