Publisher's Summary

Let's get you in top dating shape before you go out and try to meet the guy of your dreams. Doesn't that make sense? You don't run a marathon without preparing your body right? So why would you jump right into a relationship before you understand yourself?

Yet women do. They fall for a man before they have matured as a person, and this leads to failure. You grow as person the most when you are single. But instead of enjoying this time and packing your life with as many experiences as you can, many women feel the need to get married and have kids. Hell, society screams at women to have a family straight out of college.

Everyone needs a great story. Women that create a positive story before they settle down get rewarded with quality men that stay in their lives. Positive experiences define your story and this makes you interesting. When you are interesting, you have opinions and with opinions you can challenge people - namely men. Women who have a great story develop boundaries and they live their lives with conviction.

We are going to work on your story. And if it sucks, then we are going to change it. And when we do, you will be amazed how easy it will be to get what you want out of life and attract a quality man!

A useless waste of my time

I really enjoyed To Date a Man You Must Understand a Man. I found it to be of great value and I gave it 5 stars. Then I went on to this book. Ah, well, apparently all the good stuff came out in the first book. This book uses two women as examples, which are basically summed up as one of them being well and thoughtfully raised, and the other one not so much. No spoiler alerts needed here- the first grows up happy with good relationships and the latter is unhappy with bad relationships. So, as a person who was raised with an abusive father, I kept listening to see if there was some way that I could be more confident in relationships. Yes, there is! If I make myself just like the woman who was well-raised, doing all the things confident women do, then I, too, can be a confident woman with a fulfilling relationship! Yay! As far as I’m concerned, this book should be pulled and cyber-burned. I made it halfway through and then I “dumped it’s ass”.

Genuine Practical Advice for Dating Shocked Me!!!

Just finished this. I’ve never looked into any professional dating help or read any books on the top. At the age of 30- having only moved away from my parent’s and set off on my own at the age of 25 to become an NYC freelancer-and coming from a dysfunctional household at that, my inexperience and reactive behavior has caused a bad pattern to develop in my dating life. The narrator’s words powerfully and naturally enhanced what the author wrote, and I felt true strength shine through the text- as it reached my ears. Although at first I was skeptical as to what kind of advice a cheesy book on dating could offer, I must admit to my opinion change 180 degrees as I finished the last chapter. Over the period of listening to these few chapters I have gotten a pretty clear idea of the types I need to change, in both building up my own life and in the scope of my relationships, and am making plans to implement such changes. Very practical advice. Absolutely loved, will be reading more!

This book is good if you are still in high school

I am not sure what prompted me to buy this book on audibles, but 3 minutes in I realized it was a mistake. It didn't cost much, but don't waist your time.

Great! New to some. Reminder to the forgetful.

Reminder and obvious. A woman should have a lifestyle where she can live without a man. Enough positive energy would attract him to be in her life, however, she must still keep her lifestyle exciting and unique.

Good

I think the difference between this and similar books by other authors is that this guy includes a lot of spiritual wisdom as well. At times you could tell that his personal opinions came through, but overall it made him sound sincere. I’ll probably check out the other books as well he has produced.
