A New Side to Don Pendleton!
What did you like best about this story?
I'm a HUGE Pendleton fan, so I was excited to grab this audiobook. For folks who like The Executioner series, take note: Ashton Ford is a much different character - BUT I *loved* it! This is Don Pendleton's more contemplative and philosophical side, and it's great! It's like getting to know a deeper side of an old friend.
What about James Foster’s performance did you like?
James Foster hits exactly the right tone for this book! His pacing and characterization were perfect for carrying me along through the story. He *was* Ashton Ford, and I felt like I was sitting right there next to him while he told me this crazy story from his life!
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
There's a LOT of surprise humor in this book, that you might miss if you were reading it yourself (at least *I* might!) - but are brought out perfectly by James Foster's performance!
