Publisher's Summary

In the latest addition to the acclaimed Pierce Hunt series, Hunt races across Europe to stop an ever-changing threat to national security before it’s too late to save his country or his friends.

When the CIA calls on former Army Ranger Pierce Hunt to find a missing operative and friend, the last thing he wants to do is leave the peace of home and family behind. But there’s more to this mission than meets the eye, and Hunt knows he has no choice but to risk everything to save his friend and protect his country.

Hunt’s target is Jorge Ramirez, who allegedly has information that poses a threat to the national security of the United States. As Hunt tracks Ramirez in Switzerland, he learns that someone close to his operation has betrayed the CIA. His team is attacked, and not everyone makes it out alive.

Facing betrayal on an international scale, Hunt doesn’t know who to trust. The rules of engagement have changed, and the body count is rising. Will he find out the truth in time, or will this be Hunt’s final mission?

Awesome series..

Great read! I love Pierce Hunt and his team of friends. I was sorry about some of the good guys who were killed and the torture that Charlie Henican went through. BUT I wasn't sorry about what happened to what happened to Walter Helms, the jerk.

A slight tough of romance and the F-bomb was used 21 times.

As for the narrator: Bon Shaw does a great job with this book.

The only good day was yesterday

Former DEA agent, Pierce Hunt doesn’t mind doing off-the-books ops for the DEA…his former boss is a straight shooter. When a CIA deputy director requests his help to locate a missing CIA operative, Pierce has misgivings but this is his friend Max! But things quickly goes south when a mole starts exacting revenge. Another heart pumping story that includes treason and a trip through Europe.

Corruption, murder, good guys going bad

This story seems that C.I.A, DEA are all run by crooks. In the end the real good guys can prevail. I enjoyed it.

Everyone is Latino

I really like the narrator. I just couldn't get past Turkish guys sounding like Central American drug lords.

Good, but filed a little rushed.

Could have more and better developed and longer, but entertaining nonetheless.

And no CIA leader would use a Taurus handgun.

Outstanding!!

Great writing engrossing me in many different character psyche. Draws me close to many of the characters. The story is also well constructed. Good twists and not completely predictable. Great action with very excellent semantics. I’m eagerly going on to the next release!

Great characters & books

I love recurring characters and this book leaves the possibility of one of the bad guys showing up again.

I’ve read all of the books Simon Gervais has written. He’s one of my favorite authors. I highly recommend all of his books.
