Publisher's Summary

When reporter Kate Brogan and her ex-husband, vice cop Matthew Kelley, both end up investigating local psychic Olga Limas, Kate realizes the fluff piece of journalism she'd anticipated might just turn into something more. Out to debunk the woman's claim of being able to guide seance participants into the future, both her and Matt's skepticism is put to the test when they find themselves transported to 2065.

Certain the only one they can truly trust is each other, they form an alliance that quickly stirs more intimate and loving memories. Just as they are about to be shown the way home, a presidential assassination puts their lives, and their chances for a "happily ever after", in jeopardy.

Entertaining

I got this ARC via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review. I found this to be a unique twist on time travel and recovery from making a terrible decision to get a divorce rather than working things out. I found a couple parts of it dark but overall this was a good book. I especially like the ending. The narration was very well done and added to the story.

Words can't express........

Words can't express how amazing I found Time and Again by Nancy Fraser. From the first paragraph to the very last, I was enthralled. This is a beautiful romance that blends second chances, time travel, action, and mystery. Trying to tackle all those aspects well would seem impossible, but Fraser did it. She slowly doles out details and clues, sucking the reader into the story. The rebirth of the romance between Matt and Kate was captivating as they slowly began to trust each other again. When the tragedy that led to their divorce is fully revealed, I cried such sad tears, but I cried equally happy tears when they finally reach their HEA.

The time travel aspect of the story was fascinating. Although Fraser paints a mostly bleak view of the future, the book wasn't dark or heavy in the least. The supporting characters that helped Matt and Kate return to each other and return to the present were strong, kind, intrinsically good people. In addition to a thrilling time travel adventure, Fraser crafted a who dunnit that kept me guessing until the big reveal. This was a truly amazing book!

Sydney Young's narration was superb. She has a beautiful voice that kept me listening to the story without a single minute of distraction. Her portrayal of the people of the future is perfect - she makes them seem robotic and "odd" and completely separate from our present day. She made a phenomenal book even more enjoyable.

I received a copy of this audio book from Audio Boom and the narrator in exchange for this honest review.
