Must Have For Creatives!

This book proposes that organization and time management strategies should be personalized and comfortable. They should be empowering, not restrictive, and make your life more relaxed, not more stressful. Until reading this book, I had not considered that this was possible. I have adopted many of the author's ideas and specific suggestions, and I have continued using them for over a year since I first read it. I've increased my freelance earnings, created a workspace I love to work in, and reduced the stress in my life. If you cringe at most time-management books, please read this one.

Great Book for Time Management

This book was great for learning how to manage your time more efficiently, although the narrator almost put me to sleep a few times. Overall it’s a great book and I very much enjoyed it.

What an amazing little book this is

Time management books are a dime a dozen. What I liked about this one is that it was a crash course in different methodologies. I basically scanned through the chapters and looked at all the "Action Steps" then chose a few that aligned with my workflow.

not great

Reader is very boring and matter of fact. the information in the book also is conflicting there's a part in the book where one chapter will tell you not to multitask to focus completely on 1 task and the next chapter will tell you you need to be good at multitasking.also TV or radio can help you drowned out distraction . but is distracting later in the book .

Fast and boring but worth it

This book is very boring but has valuable information for someone who's struggling with time management. Unfortunately, I learned most of what is in this book the hard way but nevertheless, it was refreshing to hear that I'm on the right track. It was worth the drag.

Insightful

I absolutely loved it especially because I struggle in this dept. I actually purchased this book because we were learning in school about this very topic and I wanted and needed to acquire more knowledge for school and for my personal growth in this struggling area of mine.
(just a minor setback on chapter 5 it seemed to skip a bit... the words got a bit scrambled)

really Easily Manage Your Time.

Such an invaluable listen which has come at exactly the right time for me. Timothy Kruse, Kevin Ferriss writes with such passion, humility, compassion, understanding with lots and lots of humour and practicality. One of the first things which really hit me was this quote in the first chapter "the first thing you need to know is that you have permission to not be perfect - it's okay to not do everything perfectly all the time".

I like the manner the author named his management

The author explained in the book: "When we start to manage our time, we are using the 80/20 rule in our life. To identify the most important work needed to be done, and focus on doing that to reduce the time of working. Then, we need to create one or a few tools to manage them. We use the 80/20 rule the second time to create and use the tools."

This is a life-saving book.

This book changed the way I approach my job as a sysadmin, and my boss took notice and purchased a copy for the office to pass around and read. It helped me take control of the factors in my job that were causing me to lose focus and avoid major projects, some (like automation, also discussed in the book) that would make my job easier if I could just sit down and put four straight hours into them. This book is a must have for anyone who works in IT or as a developer. It has saved me time and time again when it comes to making sure all my work is getting done. i recommended this book

Very applicable for students!

This book helps you understand how important it is to have balance in your life. I use strategies found in this book to help unclog the hold ups in my daily flow. I recommend this book even if you are not a student. These time management skills can be applied to any life style. I have learned a lot of things about time management and how to make things fast, effective and more accurate. I always do the easy things first and leave the hard ones for later, but this book proved it to be a bad habit. Sleep really is a good thing to do when your mind starts to cloud up. This book is very helpful to people who find time management very difficult to achieve or handle.

Great Book!!

This book made me realize how much I actually do procrastinate. It also gives many ways to focus on the priorities in your life. I like that it talks about balancing work life and personal life. Indeed, this is a no bull-book. In fact, I even felt somewhat sheepish as I felt a voice talk to me about identifying my values so I can determine how best to utilise my finite time. Great book for anyone who wants and needs a wake-up call to what you are doing with your life at this point in time. I grabbed this book as a recommendation from a friend. So happy I did. The book offered some terrific insight on time management. I work from home, so this book about managing your time to create a more organized atmosphere and therefore, better results was just what I've been looking for.

Best explained book.

Straight to the point time management book. Great read.should help new managers attain time management skills desperately needed to be successful. Julie this is amazing. I was inspired all the way through. You have a way of transferring a sense of calm to your audience. I hear it when you speak and it came through when I read the workbook. Wow! I felt organized, calm, motivated and really ready to work by the end of it. Amazing job! One of the things I love about Julie's focus is that managing your time is much more than creating a better To Do List! Without that perspective it's "easy" to spend time seeking the "perfect" app or the best software. I recommended . i love so much.

Time management coaching worth your time.

Tired of the same old approach to time management? Fed up with not having the energy to get everything done? Then make the decision to look at time management from a holistic perspective. That means understanding not just tasks + hours in the day, but how your energy levels, choices, and self-care impact your efficiency, effectiveness, and most of all, your well-being. I love this book!!!! I use this book both as a guideline when working with clients - and as a refresher for myself. Practical - and easy to implement strategies are only ONE part of what makes this book first rate. A big part of it is that I simply haven't clearly defined what is important and what can slide. This book was a real life saver for me. If you feel that you don't have enough time you need to check out this book!

Exellent book for time management.

I liked this book. Time management has been one of my biggest challenges for me this year. The author explains the skills needed to effectively manage your time and change your outcome. It a very fast read but full of value. This book is very inspiring. Time management could be complicated at first but the strategies that the author provided was pretty good and legit. This book is filled with useful tips and information and I particularly enjoyed the to do list section and found the advice given in this about making the list the night before, writing it out in rough then labelling the most important tasks and allowing yourself a timescale to complete the task in. i recommended this book.. i like this book for time management
