Re-structure Your Day for Success - exude pure confidence!

These are the strategies you need for managing your time in the workplace.

Time management is one of the most important factors that influence how successful you will become. The ability to efficiently manage your time is very important, not only for those who want to advance in their careers or in their education, but also for everyone who wants to get the most out of life. With proper time management, you can expect to become a more productive person. People will start looking up to you and many opportunities to advance in life will start to appear. Perhaps most importantly, you will find immense satisfaction at being an efficient and productive member of society.

Regardless of the industry, work always comes with a number of daily tasks, stressors, and distractions. With so many things to accomplish within a given time frame, productivity is often an issue for employees and bosses.

Furthermore, you will learn all about prioritization, which is a significant factor of effective time management, as well as ways you can use to better prioritize your tasks. You will also discover if multitasking is a skill that can aid or hinder your time management endeavors (hint: it is actually robbing you of precious time) and how to eliminate distractions, remain focused, and accomplish more in less time.

This is a life-saving book.

I finally purchased and re-listen this old favorite and, even though the book came out over a decade ago, it is still relevant and filled with good advice for the IT professional. While the basic strategies can be captured in one sentence - fully track your schedule in an organizer and document important procedures in a wiki - it is the subtle nuances, the feelings of shared pain, and the inspirational epilogue that make this book a must-read and potentially a life-changer for sysadmins and similar sufferers.

Love this book.

I enjoyed listen this book. It gave good advice and I could relate to many of the examples of people who procastinated. I found the suggests for improved time management very practical I've worked in the manufacturing world for three years and during this time found myself spiraling out of control due to bad Time manquent. The constant meetings and quality issues made it impossible to feel in track, this book has been eye opening and I'm starting to see the results, highly recommended

A new relationship to life and work

Make Time begins with the assertion that most of our time is spent by default, and that by changing those defaults, we can create more time in the day for things we care about. Much of the rest of the book is packed with short, actionable tactics for changing those defaults, organized into four clear steps of daily process. Better yet, the book is written with a sense of humor. For anyone who has sensed days and weeks slip away while extremely busy, but without accomplishing things that truly matter, I enthusiastically recommend Make Time.

This is a life-saving book.

I am very satisfied with this book. This is really an excellent book. This is an essential guide for everyone. It is the present, however, that we are naturally most attached to, being creatures existing within a temporal frame of some sort. Our present consists of what is in front of us for the tie being, and, while being independent of our past and future, is often closely linked to the happenings of this timeframe.
