Another winner
Gina LaManna has once again created another satisfying addition to the Detective Kate Rossetti Mystery series. It’s filled with all the humor and bantering between characters as was found in previous books in this series.
Suzie Althens, as always, gave a brilliant performance as she breathed life into the storyline and gave each character their own distinct voice.
I look forward to the next in this series.

It feels to me like the story and the books as I go through the series are getting more filled up with any conversations that happened over and over and over again the same thing discussing the trip that G surprised her with, it talked about so many times… It just seems like the writers trying to fill the pages

Most unlikable protagonist ever
The supporting characters are great! However, Kate is flat, and her eq is nonexistent. She leaps to relational conclusions with nothing to go on and then cannot form obvious conclusions with all the evidence staring her right in the face. I’ve tried to hang in there but her character has neither grown nor improved in 7 books.
