Publisher's summary

Tilly Twomley is desperate for change. White-knuckling her way through high school with flawed executive functioning from ADHD has left her burned-out and ready to start fresh. Working as an intern for her perfect older sister’s start-up isn’t exactly how Tilly wants to spend her summer, but the required travel around Europe promises a much-needed change of scenery as she plans her future. The problem is, Tilly has no idea what she wants.

Oliver Clark knows exactly what he wants. His autism has often made it hard for him to form relationships with others, but his love of color theory and design allows him to feel deeply connected to the world around him. Plus, he has everything he needs: a best friend who gets him, placement in a prestigious design program, and a summer internship to build his résumé. Everything is going as planned. That is, of course, until he suffers through the most disastrous international flight of his life, thanks to the lively and exasperating Tilly. Oliver is forced to spend the summer with a girl who couldn’t be more his opposite, feeling things for her he can’t quite name—and he starts to wonder if maybe he doesn’t have everything figured out after all.

As the duo’s neurodiverse connection grows, they learn that some of the best parts of life can’t be planned, and they’re forced to figure out what that means as their disastrously wonderful summer comes to an end.

Critic reviews

"Narrators Chris Nelson and Justis Bolding's heartwarming and comical performance will have listeners immersed in the unlikely relationship between interns Oliver and Tilly as they trek across Europe on a business trip with Tilly's sister's start-up.... Nelson's youthful voice and elegant British accent work well for the orderly autistic teen. The narrators expertly display the complex emotions of the neurodivergent pair as they learn how to communicate with each other. Opposites attract in this breezy, fast-paced listen." (AudioFile)

An Ok Book .. not the male narrator

I've been anticipating this book since June, well, it has it's ups and downs, but overall it was just ok
The Story is about Tilly and Oliver, both are Neurodiverse , meaning they both have something that makes them different than normal, Tilly has ADHD and Oliver is autistic, but they both land in intern job in London with Tilly's sister Mona, and throughout the summer their relationship will be tested with Europe as the backdrop ..
as I said it was an OK book nothing really stood out for me, the romance was nice enough but nothing that made my heart flutter, but I liked the family dynamics, it was realistic and raw
overall I'm glad I finally read the book but I can tell I will forget it in a short time

while the female narrator was great I found the male narrator was really lacking in performance, I wish if it was narrated by a different narrator because Oliver was sweet but he sounded angry most of the time

Cute book

This book was a little too YA for my taste, but still a good book. Didn’t care too much for the male narrator, but the girl was fine.
