Tilda Finch is a successful businesswoman, a mother to two wonderful adult daughters, and besides an unexpected divorce, she’s living a relatively happy life. And the new man she meets, who she thinks is blind to her faults, might just see her more clearly than anyone has ever before. Because if we can get the voices in our heads to stop being so critical and be more compassionate, we might realize how wonderful we truly are.

A must read for women 50+

I heard about this book from an influencer on TikTok. If you are a woman over 50, especially if you are divorced, this book is excellent! Self-help mixed with the most creative fiction… It will have you laughing, crying, and leave you hopeful.

No One Sees What You See…Even If They See It, Too!

Tilda is Visible was very inspirational for me. Many of the situations and experiences described in the book resonated with me. Reading this inspired me to go further with my current projects. This is a very playful, humorous ,and accessible story that includes commentary on society, standards of beauty, the definition of success, and alternative ways of thinking about life.

I gave this book a high star rating because of its creativity and humor. However, it is not without flaws. I probably would have enjoyed this book much more if some of the situations had been a little more realistic. My issues with this book stem from its fundamental contradictions. If we are to tear down the patriarchy, why can’t we accomplish it without a Prince Charming or Knight in Shining Armor? I have mixed feelings about the ending of this book. However, the strengths of the work far outweighed the weaknesses for me.

I would recommend this to any woman ‘of a certain age’, as long as they are open to trying new things and also new, holistic and neurodynamic approaches to learning, healing, and living. I would also recommend this book to the loved ones of such women. The narration performance by Caroline Lee is solid and rightly supports the material. The characters do have Australian accents, so listeners need to take note. Overall, a delightful read.

Fabulous book. Exactly what I needed. Every woman, especially those in their 40s, 50s and so on, would likely benefit from this. In fact, I’ll be getting hard copies for my girlfriends. Sooooo good!!!!

Unique, fun storyline, couldn’t put it down

This unique storyline brings a new perspective to challenges women face in marriage, career, motherhood, health and more, while maintaining a lighthearted and humorous narrative. Tilda is Visible offers an interesting adventure that weaves in heartache, romance, friendship, determination to achieve your life dreams and the will to not only survive, but thrive with a fun told, yet practical self help guide. The narrator was engaging and dynamic.

Super Relatable, especially for women! Uplifting and a worthy read!

Great read! The overall message is something we can all relate to, and I thought it a very creative way to define something so prevalent in our society today. And of course, Caroline Lee is probably my all time favorite narrator. She always brings the characters to life for me. If you've never heard her, I highly recommend. I also highly recommend this book.

Outstanding!

This was a fantastic story with excellent narration! I am a huge fan of Caroline Lee narrating any story, but this story inparticular was exceptional! I am a 45 year old woman in perimenopause, and also a photographer, so the content was extremely relatable. Thank you, Jane Tara, for your research and self-help work put into a novel! I would not have listened to this book if it was a non-fiction self-help book! I can’t praise this book enough!
