Just the way I like it!
There's really nothing to criticize about this story. It's well-paced and suspenseful. Both plot and characters are believable. And Jennifer Pickens performs flawlessly. Thankfully, the story comes to a satisfactory conclusion with no cliffhanger. It's a great start to a promising series.

I want to catch up on this author!
This book kept me on the edge of my seat. Fast paced with plenty of action. The publisher’s summary sets up this book and needs no additional information.
This has some very interesting characters with incremental development throughout. Of course Jane was the most mysterious of all. The protagonist (Karen Pantelli) is likable. She has an old case from her FBI days that has followed and haunted her and in order to help young Jane she has to overcome it.
Jennifer Pickens does a great job narrating.
VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

What a Wild Ride

Beyond 5 stars
This book was gripping from beginning to end. The mystery, intrigue, relationships and self assessment encompassed all the characters. The main character, Karen was a strong, resilient individual who grappled with demons in her past. When she aids the young girl trying to escape abduction she takes it upon herself to assist her. Therecwere so many unknowns Karen had to deal with, along side saving a mentally unstable sister and her children. I wish I could give this book more than five stars.
Narrator Jennifer Pickens had the perfect voice for Karen. She was able to convince the reader on the strength and intelligence of Karen

Excellent. Loved it.
I really enjoyed this story. It makes you wonder waht will happen next and how it will work out. I will definitely want to read more books by Scott William Carter. There were tmes when I said just another half hour because I did not want to elave the story at that point.
The narration by Jennifer Pickens was perfect. She makes the story come to life.
