Second chances

Everybody needs a second Chance, even Katie and Chase. This is their story. Katie's hard working and enjoys her job. But with her friend getting married, she journeyed home. It was great to see her mom and sister, even though it was a short visit she planned to make the best of it. Chase lost his brother in an accident, and was left with raising his nephew. His whole world was his love for his nephew, and was raising him to be the best he could be. After being set up for the wedding of their friend, they both found themselves forced to be together. Were they really hating it? Can Chase and Katie work through the hurt they both suffered? I admire this author! This story is all about her second Chance romance and is fun and enjoyable to listen too. Her books are always filled with unforgettable sweet romance. This is just the beginning of her newest series and I am looking forward to seeing what comes next.

Beautiful Romance

This is a very sweet short story. Great character, very engaging to the end. Very touching and relatable, I listen on a plane ride as I traveled, and it was great. I recommend this to someone who has a flight or a long drive, easy to listen to and follow along. I really enjoyed this author and will read or listen to more of her work.

Sweet Romance

This was a quick, sweet romance of a lost love. Katie comes back home for a wedding after ten years of being gone. Chase is raising his nephew and never expected the woman who broke his heart to show up. Little did they know, the love was still there. If you want a quick romantic novel, this is it. The narration was great and really rounded off the book.

Love, the second time around

Sweet, endearing tale of second chances.  Katie and Chase were in love since they could remember.  But Katie always wanted more than their small town could offer.  She worked hard and earned scholarships to college and her ticket out.  The only problem was Chase.  He didn’t need to escape the small town where they grew up.  


Now it is 10 years later.  Chase is a successful banker, raising his nephew after a tragic car accident took both of Chase’s brother and his wife.  Katie used to like her job until her boss got pushed out by a bully.  Now Katie is miserable but can’t seem to find a way out.  Katie gets an invitation to an old friend’s wedding and, although she doesn’t know why, she decides to go home and to the wedding.  Because Katie doesn’t have a date, the bride assigns her a plus one.  It just so happens to be Katie’s ex-boyfriend, Chase.  


Trying not to give away too much.  Chase and Katie spend time at the wedding and rediscover their spark.  But are either willing to change their life to rekindle what could have been?  Spend a little time in a small town figuring out what is really important.  Good listening!  

Loved it! Reminiscent of a Hallmark movie

I enjoyed listening to this book and found it a more wholesome and refreshing story line. I liked the fact that it didn’t have an in depth sex scene as those make me uncomfortable. But I do enjoy a good love story and this one was one I could picture being the next Hallmark movie. I found the characters to be endearing and loved how important family was to the main characters. One of the best parts was when Katie finally realized what was most important to her and she stood up for herself against her BFH. Well written, and quite enjoyable!

Wonderful Sweet Romance

This is a wonderful sweet second chance small town romance that I loved every minute listening to.

Chase and Katie were high school sweethearts years ago and now when a friend is getting married … Chase and Katie are paired up as each others plus one. Chase is still bitter how things ended and Katie has regrets making decisions that changed the course between them years ago. The spark between Chase and Katie never died ….and a second chance is what they need…

Wonderful story, sweet and clean….. highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This book is one of my favorite listens of the year. I have read and listened to many of this authors books. It is always a treat. This story is short enough to listen in one setting and it kept me entertained while I was flying home.
The narrators Devon Grace and Troy Duran are new to me. I look forward to more from them. They really brought the characters to life.

Perfect Narrative!!

This book was beautifully told with amazing narrator’s. This second chance romance will definitely pull at your heart strings and give you such a feel good feeling. HS sweethearts at one time until one broke the others heart. Years later fate pulls them together again and they wonder if they will ever get a happily ever after…

Short story romance with a happy ending! Love it!

Omg how adorable!! Such a great story! It’s not a long book, but that’s what makes it perfect. It’s like a movie. Romance in a little town with an adorable family setting, and the perfect little kid to round out the story. Read this book if you like happily ever afters, kindness, joy, and small towns.

This is an author that I have enjoyed reading and listening to from the first book. I enjoy how the narrator uses different tones of voice to change characters. I also enjoyed how they made the book come to life. I found this to be an engaging story that is shorter but packs a punch. A story where two people have great chemistry but life gets in the way. Will these two figure out things and be able to have a life together? Katie and Chase’s chemistry and growth is off the charts and you don’t want to miss their story. I really enjoyed listening to this story and I highly recommend it.
