Lived up to expectations

The setup for this one in the previous book of former crawlers entering faction war was lived up to spectacularly. It had good twists and turns making it so you never knew exactly what was next

Donut gets so much attention and love this book!

The stellar storytelling and world building of the universe keeps on going, and gods the story is NOT going the way i expected originally in a great way.

What else can I say except this is the best book yet? High stakes, intimate moments, belly laugh lines, and gore galore!

The series keeps getting better!

The story has a good pace and Matt balanced story progression with action which can be tough. I love that different characters got to shine (like Li Na). This series is by far my favorite. And if I ever meet Matt I will give him the AI inspired foot treatment.

Jeff has ruined reading books for me. I read this book when it first came out because I was going through withdrawals and couldn’t wait 5 months. That did not ruin the audio experience. Jeff enhances the experience to a whole new level. Prepare your tooties Jeff, you get the same treatment.

The writing, the performance, the community, it's all amazing. 7th in the series and I'm more addicted than ever. Highly recommend this series and this title to anyone

Best one yet!!

This was already my favorite series, I listened to DCC books for over 1200 hours in 2024. so trust me when I say this is the best one yet!!

Matt’s story and Jeff’s performance 10/10

They only thing that matches Matt gift of crafting a story that emotionally draws you and its Jeff’s range. From goat scream to His ability to speak with yogurt in his mouth. 10/10 will listen again and again

Matt as a writer you are getting better and better with each book. DCC is a story that keeps me on edge all the way through. Jeff Hayes as the narrator is probably what takes these stories to that next level. Jeff brings Matt's characters to life like only he can. Thank you for the beautiful time. Till next time crawler!

another, deeper, delve with Carl and Donut

Only found a couple of editorial misses in the book this time. Story line shows mature development of characters, and heavy impact consequences for choices made. A very enjoyable listen, but it's over way too quick. I can't read much anymore, so audio books rock my world, and Mr. Hays' voices really make this series pop out. Although I think the author MAY want to slow down on adding accents just to vex Jeff...lol
