Once she was Adrienne Satti. But now, in the midst of Davillon's political turmoil, an array of hands are once again rising up against her, prepared to tear down all that she's built. The City Guard wants her in prison. Members of her own Guild want her dead. And something horrid, something dark, something ancient is reaching out for her, a past that refuses to let her go.

Widdershins and Olgun are going to find answers, and justice, for what happened to her - but only if those who almost destroyed her in those years gone by don't finish the job first.

I like this book a lot!

I like this book a lot! It keeps you on your toes and looking slowly around every corner! I liked it so much!

Exquisitely Brazen.

I have had more fun listening to this very short than any 30-40 hr long audiobook in years! Wider shins is a genius! Thanks to the author for giving us a decent female protagonist and props to all voice actors for bringing her to life!

I don't listen to much fantasy. but it's a good listen and great performance. I recommend.

The cast and crew did a great job. I really enjoyed the story. It's unique from my standard go to stories. I will be listening to all that are available. Glad I bought them.

A movie in my head!

The Graphic Audio shows remind me so much of old radio shows that used full casts and sound effects, but with their recordings, you also get a more spatial experience and crisper sound. Graphic Audio has definitely kept me subscribing to Audible.
