Does not disappoint

The cast for this was great the only reason I gave this book four stars for performance was it seemed to be lower volume then most books. At full volume it was easy to hear. I usually listen to books in my shop. I found this book was hard to hear if there was ambient noise.

Good listen

always love the humor and seeing how silly people would look to someone who wasn't human. we're all the same what ever world we're on.

Furthermore, this is a killer performance.
Thief of Time has been brought to life for me.

My second version of the audio book of this title. Like it better than the first one

I own all the Nigel Planer and Stephen Briggs audio books. Love most of them and listen annually. Thief of Time was not in my top 20 to be honest, I usually find Susan to be annoying (perhaps being read by men?). However, I completely enjoyed this version with women playing women and understood the points of wisdom better. Although I miss the Planer version of Nanny, the trade off is well worth the credit.

Great writing, but bad audio quality

The review title pretty much says it all. This is a wonderful story with clever, insightful moments that also managed to be funny and entertaining. Unfortunately, the audio quality of this book is not very good. It sounds like an old radio playing at the bottom of a well. Turning the volume of the device up very high, allowed me to listen to it anyway, but this caused the audio to occasionally spike uncomfortably and becomes somewhat distorted. Anyway, as a blind person, I would rather have bad audio quality than no audiobook at all. Still it would be nice to have a better version with better audio quality.
