Publisher's summary

My Alien Overlords are red, massive, and determined to claim--steal? Keep? Possibly all of the above--me. Moons, I dunno. My status with the Louxos cousins is set on so, SO complicated.

One night of passion with two Xalthurians changed everything. Nope! Try made everything worse.

One will do anything to get me off the planet, including accepting my Hail Mary, crazy-high-stakes bet for full custody of our hybrid son.

And the other one’s angry at me because I refuse to risk it all to become the MFM triad he believes me, him, and my hot-but-horrible alien baby daddy are fated to become.

One thing’s certain. We all need each other to get what we think we want.

But is what we want what we actually need?

With an unknown enemy called The Benefactor lurking in the shadows, threatening to destroy any happiness we might fumble upon, I’m either going to be Theirs for Now or Theirs for Forever.

Find out which in the fireball series finale for the Alien Overlords!

This can't be over.

I enjoyed this series. I really wish Theodora changes her mind and don't retire Mrs. Vaughn. We'd love another series or something. Just it's too good to end.please.

Great!

Oooooh, my moons! (LOL) I really liked this book and would recommend it. It had a great storyline and sexaul storylines. You are a great writer and I couldn't be more proud of your use of words for story telling! The narrator was awesome as always! Your series must become a TV show or movies. The 3 some was a great match together and I must have a book about the next phase of their lives. I thought Diane was going to be the on at first, but wow lil reader will make for a great next book and pretty sure Diane book would follow. Don't make me write the book LOL.

Worth the Wait!

This book was worth the wait, and with no virtual voice Yay!. I am a Patreon member I read along and still wanted the Audible version. Yay Taylor Vaughn team. I know that this is done, but we as fans can keep going if you chose. Great story, good characters, Initially I thought the heroine was a little mean but realizing her situation and her being a SCIENTIST was amazing. Read the story or listen to the whole series you'll love it.

The book was ok

I did not like the ending. Now I feel like the book is unfinished. The story itself was good but I wanted so much more.

No More Stories

I loved this series and it is hard to believe it is over. I cannot imagine the families not having peace. I will put my own spin on their future. I don’t want to think about karma showing up.

Wow

Really enjoyed this series! So good, so very very good! What a way to end this erotic fantasy experience. More please…. But I’m happy I was introduced to this amazing and talented author Taylor Vaughn! Really enjoyed the details and way it really gives you the romance sci-fi, feeling. I loved it. Great characters by the way. 5 stars. Clementine Dove kills it every time! I love her voice acting I love the sound of her voice as well! She is just amazing, she gets 5 stars. The back and forth with the different voices of the different characters is just Fire!

Ms. T for the win

Wow I feel four maybe five more books coming our way. We can hope. I am never unsatisfied with her writing style. She never writes a stupid female lead character. They maybe flawed or scared but never dumb. I also love how they are true momma bears for their children. This series is a must read. Pure entertainment. Thank you Ms. T.

New Terran idiom and slang dictionary

In the earlier books they constantly use the phrase "old world entertainments" and now in this book they're always saying "new terran idiom and slang dictionary". This term is used at least once (sometimes more) in every chapter from L'Than and L'Gon's POV. I'm guessing this is done for the sole purpose of increasing the book's word count. I would have preferred a shorter book. After the 10th time I found it extremely annoying and it took me out of the story. If not for that I did like this book and am glad that the whole series is available on Audible. I wasn't sure they would be when it took so long for the 4th book to come out. I didn't care for the sex scenes, but that is just a personal preference and not a reflection on the story. Narrator did a good job. I do wish that she gave each person their own voice. Every human girl sounded alike. Every Xal female sounded alike. Same for human men and Xal males.

final installment is confusing & lacks credibility

I've listened through all five audible books in this series, and was looking forward to the conclusion. The first four I rather enjoyed, though I was somewhat annoyed that book four was a part one of two, so you either have to stop listening at book three (I recommend this) or go for all five. Anyway, book five was a bust for me and I'll tell you why (only the third point in its own paragraph below is a spoiler, and I've marked it as such).

More than once, the author advances the story and then suddenly everything comes to a halt, with Elle claiming... "and then I woke up, and realized it was all a dream." How many times can you do this? As a writer, sometimes you realize your characters are going down the wrong path, and even though it's painful to do so, it's the author's responsibility to reconsider, delete and start over. To lead the reader/listener down an untrue path is irresponsible, and frankly, the lazy way out. I'm not saying that a dream sequence doesn't have its own value if done correctly - if there's a real purpose for it - but usually, the reader KNOWS it's a dream and therefore, isn't dropped out of the story when the dream ends, asking, what the fuck?

A second and really irritating issue with this particular volume is the author's unrelenting use of idioms and slang. We're dealing with an alien species here, and frankly, one that has shown its rather predominant disgust for the human race. So the fact that it's primarily the alien L'Than saying these phrases is problematic for me. I think that the author at some point realized this (or it was pointed out to her by a beta reader), and instead of taking the time and effort to FIX this careless use of human slang that the alien would have no way of knowing, she added the a sentence somewhere along the variation of "As I have come to learn from the New Terran idiom and slang dictionary." Again, this is LAZY writing. Each character has its own voice, way of thinking, and way of communicating. L'Than deserved nothing less.

**SPOILER** This paragraph only. Now to my biggest issue with this final book in the series. The author finally chose to address the cause of the Zalthurian's fertility crisis... and OH. MY. GOD. Seriously? What a ridiculous premise. That this so-called advanced alien race: 1) does not understand or has not adequately studied their own females' anatomy, particularly given that their species are on the brink of extinction without cross-species mating (which they HATE); and 2) that the Zalthurians apparently have such contempt for their females in the first place to ignore something as basic as need, desire, and sexual pleasure (not to mention they don't see any value in their female offspring... which... hello, don't you need females to create more babies???) is just SOOO dumb. **END SPOILER**

This last book was terribly confusing and I wish I had stopped listening after the third story. That would be my recommendation.
