Publisher's Summary

Bruised, not broken. Loved. Always.

Clover’s life was perfect a year ago. He’d found four men to love. Each essential to making him whole. Each one of them tough in their own way and part of a crew of mercenaries living on the wrong side of the law.

Tank was his loving daddy. Pyro, the wild one, always pulled him into mischief. Boar taught him how to cook. And Drake showed him how to use knives in a wholly different fashion.

All Clover wanted was to finally be an equal in the group. So, he trained, he pushed, and risked, but when real danger stared him in the face, he broke like a twig.

Now, with one of his lovers taken, Clover can’t find a way back to his former self. Each of the relationships they’d so meticulously built is fractured, and it might never be the same.

If their group is to ever be whole again, Clover needs to find the courage he’s lost, but that means facing the monster who scarred him and truths none of his men want to confront.

Their Property is a dark, gay, harem, contemporary romance and the third book in the Four Mercenaries Trilogy.

Themes: polyamory, mercenaries, bounty hunters, albinism, commitment issues, dark past, male bonding, human trafficking, size difference, danger, alpha male, found family, size difference, distrust, shared, victim and protector, revenge, organized crime, angst, trauma, rescue, missing.

An amazing end to this series!

I absolutely loved this dark, gritty poly mercenary romance.

Clover and his lovers have really evolved since the beginning of their relationship.

I have enjoyed this sexy, dark action packed series so far!!

The author has definitely delivered a stunning conclusion to this series.

The narration was absolutely brilliant!!

Reunited And It Feels Sooo Good!

Since there are four lovers in this series, I want to start by rating them from my fav to least fav, just like in my review of book one and two.

1. Drake (???)
2. Boar (Jamie) 26
3. Pyro (Matt)
4. Tank (Adam) 39

Drake (still don't know if that's his real name though...) I understand Drake's need to distance himself for awhile, but there came a point where he was running away instead of fixing things. Like I said in the last review, what happened wasn't his fault and he is being too hard on himself. His avoidance is doing more harm to Clover than good. They need each other to heal since they experienced the ordeal together.

Boar! This book starts off at a point four months later and Boar is still missing. The reunion and rescue scene is emotional and some of the best scenes in this book. Boar is a sweetheart, but the bad guys have poked the bear and better watch out. He will do anything for the ones he loves.

Pyro! Finally moved up a spot on my list, even though he did burn Tank's house down at the end of the last book lol! He starting doing drugs again, drinking and illegal fighting (sometimes till the death). In this case, the latter was a good thing. But he finally opens up to Clover after almost ruining everything they've built. His inner self is so beautiful that he had to finally move up in my list. This was his much needed redemption which allowed me to remember how much I loved him early on in the first book.

Tank. He still played the blame game for a good part in the beginning (mostly on Drake). It annoyed me because he passed judgement without knowing the whole story. He's pissy with Pyro (understandably) and Drake (misguidedly) when they are all hurting. For the first half of the book, he was a total bitter Betty. :/ Although, there are two particular scenes with him and Drake that warm me to him again. Not to mention the sacrifices he's always willing to make for his crew. For that, I can almost forgive everything I don't like about him lol, but Pyro deserved third place this time around.

Clover. He stepped up even more this book. With so many things going wrong with Boar missing, Pyro acting out, Drake keeping his distance and everyone feeling some type of guilt about his disappearance, he tried his best to keep it together and be the rock. He even dyed his hair in order to keep unwanted attention off himself. Whatever he needed to do, he tried his best and he never gave up hope. Clover grew up the most and I love him now.

I have to say that the best scene in this book was when Boar and Pyro reunited. It was emotional.

Another hit by the fabulous K.A. Merikan with Wyatt Baker as the narrator. I look forward to hearing the third book on audio.

Loved it! Raw suspense and gut-wrenching emotion!

How can a book be so dark and scary, have such horrific, danger-filled scenes and main characters that seem to exude danger and toughness, and at the same time still… still bring us such an amazing, super steamy, deeply-moving and unique love story? All the heart and softer emotions that these MC’s hide behind their gruff exterior, it still shines through in their actions. The connections between all of the men, whether based on love or friendship, are strong and intense. I’ve never read anything like this series. It’s mind-blowing.

Life has fallen apart for Clover and his men when Boar went missing and they have an incredibly hard time coping with their respective feelings of rage, grief and/or guilt. The sadness and worry is almost palpable, as a reader you are just so anxious for them to find Boar, and find him now! I couldn’t relax not knowing how he was faring.

My heart ached for Pyro, he seems so lost without Boar and it’s made worse because he doesn’t know how to draw support from the others, or even that he could if he wanted to. Clover goes above and beyond to be there for him, but the significance of his actions doesn’t quite seem to register for Pyro. I was also over the moon to see Drake and Tank grow closer, being vulnerable with each other, finally, with a little help from Clover. By far one of my favorite parts of this story.

Absolutely recommend.

Narration; I love the choice of Wyatt Baker for this series! He's great at capturing the rawness, heat and danger that comes with the Merikan world. I really enjoyed his performance of this story and loved how he brought all 5 characters to life in a way that did justice to all of them.

A MUST READ

not gonna lie, in the beginning I had my doubts about this plot line. though, as I delved deeper into the first book, I saw that the characters had so much more depth to them than I gave credit for.

Clover. sweet, sweet Clover. in the beginning he's a little shit. not gonna lie, sassy and brash but it doesn't last very long. throughout the series, seeing him grow and become the man he is by the 3rd book was wonderful to watch. he grew up fast and the experiences he has with the events in each book, made me want to scoop him up and protect him from danger. Clover is far from being fragile, and it shows. his love for all of the men is equal and I love to see that. it's not just one or two of the men he favors, it's all of them. his love for all of the men is beautiful.

Tank taking the role as the daddy for Clover and always being there to take care of him made my heart flutter. the way he takes lead even though the group doesn't necessarily have a "leader", he has an air of authority to him that gets him the respect of the others. they all care what he thinks and it shows.

Pyro being the brash, hyperactive person that he is made me smile and laugh with all of the banter he provided. though as you go deep into the series, you get to see a side of him that was once exposed to Boar, be shared with Clover and it makes your heart absolutely melt.

Boar is an absolute gem and deserves to be protected at all times. his love for Clover runs so deep, it hurts. he's a giant teddy bear and I adore him. the fact that book 2&3 did what they did to him killed me but the moment things fell back into place, I was so relieved.

Then there's Drake. sigh, oh Drake. in the beginning he was very off putting towards Clover and there was reason behind it. baby boy has trust issues and that's understandable. then as time goes on, the character growth, the arc that he had warmed my heart so much.

overall, I loved the show of the polygamous relationship between all five men. the dynamic between them all has range, each personality melts well with one another and it's such a beautiful thing to have witnessed.

A Wonderful Conclusion

Oh my! This entire series was such an amazing ride and the conclusion was just as fabulous as I hoped. There was so much action and heart-stopping moments. Only K.A. Merikan can create such incredible drama and action without making it feel ridiculous. I could hardly put this book down and even though the book ended perfectly, I was still sad to say goodbye to all the characters.

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.!!! Wyatt Baker is Spectacular!

I know I've said it before, but I can't help it... This series is the best I've read from K.A. Merikan (and I should play it safe this time, and add "...so far")! Okay, the best so far.

Damn, these characters. Each man unique, and all the dynamics between them in pairs, as threesomes, and all five together - just YES. So good.

Non-stop action, amazing and exciting, and completely unique. I highly recommend this series. Word to the wise though, just buy them all because once you start you aren't going to want to wait to continue.

And a huge BONUS, do it in audio! Wyatt Baker is superdupersplendiforous!

Loved the series

4 Blue Roses
5 Blue Flames

Narrator Wyatt Baker performed his usual best in this third installment of the Four Mercenaries series. Clover is finding his confidence and gave me the impression that he is actually running the show. The groups cohesion is improving and some new love connections are made within the menagerie. I'm falling in love with the men as I got to experience more of their emotional side. These deadly rough killers are all marshmallow soft on the inside. They turn to Clover for support and direction and Clover proofs to be very insightful for his age. Lots of angst, action and plenty of dark humor in this book, it will not disappoint lovers of this series.

I definitely recommend listening to this one. The sex is off the charts hot, and you have to find out if Clover got his revenge.

Happy Listening

The final instalment

What an ending to a great series, pure hot smut and at some points very dark story, but gritty and compelling, you have to finish the series.

Four Mercenaries, Tank, Pyro, Boar and Drake. These guys take on the jobs that others shy away from, and their main targets are child traffickers, the scum of the earth.

Clover and the guys go through hell in this series, and this book is no different. I have to say the author keeps you balancing on edge all the way through, excellent writing.

Such great characters, and I love how Clover adapts to his surroundings and knows how to persuade older men to get his way, let's just say daddy/boy. The sex is hot hot hot.

The narration was first class, great character voices, and it sold the story to me.
Plus, as always, hot sex scenes are throughout the book. Have I said that before... We finally get our HEA.

A hard road back together, but so worth it!!!!

Following on from the nail-biting cliffhanger ending of book two we are given a look at what is left behind. It was so hard to see all these guys hurting in various ways and even though the book starts from 4 months later the pain, grief, and hurt are all still there.

This book is a fight to find and save Boar as it is now known that, he was the glue holding everyone together, and without him, everything is falling apart. With a missing member to find everyone is struggling with their new reality. Drake’s gone rogue and wallowing in guilt, Pyro’s dived down a self-destructive, explosive and manic path that even Clover can’t seem to pull him back from. That leaves Tank to try and hold it together and keep Clover safe and sane. It’s a hard feat, for Tank as he too is struggling, as is Clover.

This story spirals into hopelessness and defeat, then back to surprise, danger and finally triumph. It’s an insane whirlwind that had me riveted to the page. I really loved the thrill and suspense within the story and the slow healing that everyone had to endure. I was somewhat surprised by the “final battle” which was epically awesome and so fitting for the growth of each and every one of these guys. And of course, there is an exceptional amount of heat and a somewhat unique happy ending (thanks to the epilogue)!!!

Such a rollercoaster of a series. I loved every thrilling dark moment!!!

Hot and so freaking good story

So hot and captivating story! The second book left the five MC’s in a desperate situation and I couldn’t stand it, so I had to listen book 3 immediately. I love how the characters are all different and still they are all so perfect for each other. Every man has his strengths and flaws. I love how the relationship between damaged Drake and Tank the Daddy developed slowly. Like in most K. A. Merikan’s books, even the good guys are kind of bad and the bad guys are, well, really, really bad.

The story is a terrifying, scorching hot, thrilling emotional journey and I couldn’t put the book down at all.

The narration is good and the sex scenes? So hot! I just hope there would be a fourth (and fifth and sixth) book in this series!
