Not the best

Unless Christopher Timothy’s voice has totally changed over the years, this book is not narrated by him. After listening to the Herriot books with Timothy’s wonderful narration, this one was quite disappointing. The voice really makes a difference.

Yorkshire vet sories

Although not the same as the. James Herriot stories I enjoyed listening to this, and finding out all the ins and outs that were not told on the Yorkshire vet TV series I did enjoy listening to it.

Herriot's legacy is in safe hands.

Really enjoyable and insightful with plenty of laughs along the way. Alf and Donald would approve.

Serious and funny

Great read looking at the changes in work practice and the care and dedication needed to fulfil the role.

Disappointment

So bad especially considering its association with James Herriot. It is painful to listen to.

disappointing

I thought I would be listening to a book about Peter Wright’s life in fact there is a lot more about his thoughts on life the environment and nurturing his own ego Because boy does he think he’s incredible important He isn’t the person you see on the Yorkshire vet that’s all for the cameras He’s a total different person who at the very end of the book totally disappoints you Only read this if you never want to watch the Yorkshire vet in the same way again

A pleasant journey in to Peter's vet life.

I have listened to this Audible book twice and enjoyed his book especially with the familiar voice of Christopher Timothy. Thank you to you both.

Good book well narrated.

Interesting account of life in the new vetinary practise in Yorkshire. well narrated by Christopher Timothy and not at all like his narration as James Herriot. an enjoyable book with a touch of the Yorkshire dales in there too.
