Had me hooked

Couldn't put it down and I LOVE that this continues in the Starfall Point world. Molly Harper can do no wrong <3

So happy today

I spent all day traveling but I was happy because a new Molly Harper book in my favorite Michigan town came out. Fantastic characters, can't wait to get to know the other two sisters

A fun read (or listen)

The two narrators do a great job, but I do wish that they would have been asked to read all parts said by their characters instead of just doing the overall POV chapters and having to imitate the voice of the opposite sex. The plot was interesting and well written.

Good start

Love Molly Harper And Amanda Ronconi. Teddi Hamilton is a good addition to the team. This start to a new series was ok. Mina and Chester are my favorites. But the inner dialogue in the middle of an action sequence is just annoying. I mean a full on “lay on your therapist’s couch moment” while someone is trying to kill you is NOT the time to space out and have an existential moment! Have that crisis after you’re safe. Other than that this was a nice read.

Molly and crew did great. It took me a while that their magic controlled the saltwater references in a great lake. She might have found an earlier time to point it out. That's it! I 💕 loved everything else! 👍🏼

A fun story

I really enjoyed this book the characters are written very well and kept me interested the narrators did a great job of being them to life

After reading the Starfall Point trilogy, I was maybe expecting too much from this book. I understand the story has to be set up for Moonshadow Cove, but it was a little frustrating. Since the sea witches are in the same universe as the Shadow house coven and even interacted with Mina, it was hard to just keep reading about them having issues with ghost storage. The previous coven already figured out how to use the ghost locks to push the ghosts into the afterlife when they're dangerous, so the sea witches not asking for help didn't make sense to me

I loved the Mystic Bayou series. I loved the Starfall Point series. And now I can tell I’m going to love the Moonshadow Cove series! Keep them coming, Molly Harper! The thing I appreciate most about all of these series is the strong relationships between the women. No betrayals or trying to steal each other‘s love interests. They work out their differences in healthy ways, then support each other to solve the problems. And they are usually the ones saving the princes! 😊 I also LOVE the banter. I want friends like these. And speaking of the princes, I appreciate her portrayals of them too — they support their women and aren’t threatened that the women are more powerful than them.

My only complaint in these series have has been with Teddy Hamilton’s narration, mainly in the last couple series. He seems to give all the main character men a gruff and aggressive tone, which would be more suited for the bad guy. It doesn’t fit for the good guys who are supposed to become the lovers.

But overall, 5 stars and I cannot wait for the next one!

Fun listen!

Molly Harper is a gifted writer. I loved this book. It was fun! My ONLY complaint? Rugelach. The narrators can’t pronounce correctly. It’s pronounced Rugelah…the c is silent. Other than that? It’s a fun yarn. I am looking forward to the next installment!
