Duke and Elena

I’ve read this book many times. It’s a favorite. The audio is amazing. The narrators do a great job of being this book to life.

Alden never disappoints. Deeply thought provoking while weaving nuances into each character making you want to keep going. Wonderfully written.

Good Lord. All the emotions.

Good Lord. All the emotions. This story made me feel all the emotions. I am livid still livid was livid. Very upset about the way. Elena have been treated since the beginning. The fact that Duke was such an idiot and talked so horribly to her when she was so young. The fact that Nash was an absolute jerk to her. The fact that Elena‘s mom never put her first. I felt all the feelings for her. But Lord Almighty, I am so glad that Duke pulled his head out of his butt when he came back to the ranch. There’s lots of drama. There’s a little bit of spice, not a whole lot. Lots of aches. And best of all the bad guys get what’s coming to them.
