concise summary of much research and good techniqu

I own a bunch of writing books and is the author notes in the later chapters it's not so much that all of this is brand-new is that it is concisely presented with the most recent research to explain why these techniques are valid and useful. I found her writing style to be concise Lively and supportive. I think the person reading this has a wonderful voice that reads pretty briskly it is one of the few books I've ever had to turn down to a lower rate on Audible but that's not a huge problem. solid recommendation to buy.

Terrific information

Terrific information on how to balance structure with creativity. The author's vocal performance was good, but the studio quality of the recording did not seem to be of a professional standard.

Amazing!

Super informative, great advices and to the point. I would definitely listen to at again while writing so that I can apply each thing. One point about the narration, the quality of the wasn’t ideal but it’s wasn’t bad at all.

I would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn about writing that has no experience like me because it will give you the big picture.

A kick start to your writing

Having fallen into the state of a lapsed writer, allowing life to distract from following the creative muse, I found this book an inspiration, with the author's methods to better writing. Although I don't personally subscribe to the idea of mapping everything out before stating to scribing as if I know what's ahead for my characters, the whole creative importance drys up. But her earnest delivery has encouraged me to dust off half-finished projects and revisit them.

Brilliant conclusions on other self help books.

Anne Janzer successfully makes helpful conclusions on top of conclusions from other writing self help books.
I've read all of the other books she mentions in this book and her new view on their material are very clever.
So you could call what she does a meta-analysis and she does it very good.

You Need This Book!

I loved the seamless mix of research, Anne's extensive personal experience and advice from other writers which is found in this book. A perfect blend of the philosophy and the practical application of writing. This book is relevant to you no matter what your writing experience. It gives you an opportunity to reflect on your process; to explore your strengths and weaknesses and best of all, to learn how to exploit them. Since finishing the book, I have built many new practices into my writing process such as allowing scheduled time for incubating ideas. This has already had a dramatic effect on my writing output. I have experienced greater flow and the confidence that comes when words and ideas play well together. I also love books narrated by the author. There is that real sense of connection with the words and content. I'm glad I found this book. You will be too.
