Morgan Wright RULES!! A huge thumbs up!!

I will start by saying that I am a huge fan of this series and this book is EVERYTHING and more. Kyla has given us 3 Wright Brothers and with this book she has given us Morgan Wright... "Baby Wright", the sister who happens to be the CEO of the company and the one that basically has her life together. Morgan Wright is a force to behold and a woman who has a clear path of what she wants and that she will work for everything she aims to have in her life. Love is the one thing that has eluded her because in her eyes there is no one other than her brother's best friend that she even looks at. As the story progresses we get glimpses of Morgan & Patrick's relationship and banter as "friends". You find yourself in the mind of this woman that basically has it all except the intrest of the one man she has forever had a crush on. I'll leave it there because this is where the story gets interesting.
I will say wholeheartedly that Morgan Wright is a force to be reckon with and that as a woman and a professional she is all inspiring. This story grabs at you becuase it has themes that are universal, such as apprecciating every moment you are given, that you are able to have balance in life if you pursue it and that family always has your back. I am so glad that I experienced this series, but most of all Morgan's story because I can relate to her. She is a character that empowers, shows her vulnerabilities and also is still growing as a person and as a professional through this whole story.
The characters are very well built and since I experienced this story via audio, the narration if solid, emotional and very engaging. I am very much looking forward from more of this family and from Kyla Linde's storytelling. A Huge Thumbs Up!!

My fav wright yet

loved this book from the very start. the heroine was strong all the way through. I didn't have many moment where I wanted to shake her and be like just stop! she is level headed, smart and thinks things through.

plus it is one of my fav tropes brother best friend and sister. ohh Yea! seriously fun read. pretty low angst but there is still a bit of a conflict. and the ending and reveal were not too predictable. anyway highly recommend. plus if you have read the previous wright books, you get to revisit the characters you grew to love.

narration was obviously top notch so just use the credit and enjoy! And just what I needed after my pervious intense listen. 5 stars.

Loved this one!

Okay, the whole series is AWESOME! Amy and Teddy were fantastic and Morgan and Patrick. Thank the hell for that! I was so disappointed by Bk3's narrators. So 3/4 of this series is totally worth listening too! Hope Audible gets David and Sutton's story! I'll be on it like white on rice! (Edit: Found it! apparently it's a 2 parter 8hr+ story and wasn't listed under the series! Guess I can move on to them now!)

This is the first series I've dove into by K.A. Linde and I've enjoyed it. The characters aren't overly complex, each of them are strong and flawed in a way that brings empathy and relativity to them. She also throws in a complex character that you simply despise... like Landon (his ex) and Morgan (Owen) stories that throws a bit of conflict into the mix to see how the characters will handle it. I think I'll just mosey into Ms. Linde's library and see what else she has! I was serious tho, I hope the narration for David and Sutton's story is as good as books 1,2, and 4 were (Book 3's narrators were so annoying I couldn't listen to it! 😖) Sutton has matured so much since she was first introduced in Jenson's story and I'd like to listen to it. Reading an actual book these days is so hard with my schedule. Audible is a life saver because I can listen while I work.

ONLY A “MEH” AND A SHRUG FROM ME I’M AFRAID

Sadly, I think this was probably my least favorite Wright story.. and I’m really not sure as to why this particular Wright wasn’t the right story for me. Morgan, the newly appointed twenty-seven yr old CEO of Wright Industries, had had a crush on Patrick, her brother’s bff, since she was fifteen and all the Wright siblings knew.. but Patrick didn’t. And when he was finally told the truth about his best friend’s baby sister crushing on him, thirty-one yr old Patrick suddenly saw the strong independent workaholic Morgan in a whole new light.. and he liked what he saw. However, the problem was that Patrick had a bit of a bad reputation when it came to the ladies.. and the Wright brothers weren’t going to be happy with him dating their baby sister.. hence the secret. So they took things slow, kept their romance on the down low and enjoyed a few clandestine liaisons where they let their feelings flow.

But secrets will always out.. and they weren’t the only ones hiding the truth because an estranged Uncle had neatly manoeuvred his way into the Company and he was backstage skilfully moving his pawns and pulling strings ready for his final checkmate.

Worth a credit! Yes, this was an enjoyable steppingstone to the next book.. but it was just a bit meh nothing special for me - Patrick was nice, Morgan was nice, the very close family relationships and dynamics were all very nice and the discovery of feelings were nice too. However, I wanted something more.. maybe it was more drama, more angst or more romance.. or maybe it was something less juvenile in its plotline.. I just don’t know but it was that extra something that (for me) would take it up to the next level from just being good to being great or even outstanding. The narrators did a great job with this dual POV contemporary romance that had a drop of drama, some sex, a beloved family entourage.. and a secret or two.

Each book just keeps getting better!!!!

YES!!! Morgan Wright finally got her happily ever after!
Everything you've grown to love about Morgan Wright blossomed in her story.
She's strong, smart, confident and lives and breaths Wright Construction.
Seeing her in her element and moving into the CEO position made me so proud of her. She was a woman on a mission.
It's a shame it took Patrick this long to realize it but when her brothers best friend finally opened his eyes and took in the woman before him, it was beautiful. Patrick is so sweet and sexy. He fits right into Morgan's life and accepts her for the powerful woman she is.
He's not intimidated by her brilliance, he respects it.
Each book in this series just gets better and better.
I listened to this on audio and Teddy Hamilton as Patrick was perfect!!! He did an amazing job making me fall in love with Patrick and his love for Morgan.
Amy McFadden was perfect for the part of Morgan. She gave you the power Morgan exudes yet let you feel her uncertainty of having her doubts.
Highly enjoyed this story and the excellent narration!
I seriously have a book hangover and cannot wait for more from the Wright Family!!!

Love Patrick and Mor❤️

I can’t get enough of the series. The narrators from Book 3 were a challenge to listen to.I deliberated a while to try this book 4. So happy I did! Narrators were so much better! Love the story between Patrick and Morgan! Although it was obvious of Morgan’s love for Patrick from book 1, it was great to see that Patrick finally got it! This story was funny and cute! I love Sutton’s snarchy quips throughout the book. Love their girls night interaction between Sutton and Morgan. The family interactions after Austin discovered Morgan and Patrick was funny! I laughed out loud! I want more of Patrick and Mor! Also, it’s great to catch up with the other characters as the series continues. Question: did I miss Heidi and Landon wedding? Will move to the next book to hopefully get more answers....

Female Narrator Horrible

A narrator can make or break a book, and sadly the female narrator in this story broke it for me. Teddy Hamilton had a better female voice then the female narrator herself. if I could say anything to the author it would be choose wisely when you pick a narrator.
