A more in depth version of Cunk on Earth. Just as hilarious, but you might accidentally learn a bit of history if you're not careful

The last history book anyone will ever need

I was not familiar with Cunk before getting this book. I haven’t seen the Netflix series or anything else she’d done, but I had heard good things. After finishing the book, I will definitely check out the series. If you like silly humor and wordplay/puns, definitely check it out.

This is exactly what it claims to be. It’s light, quick, and funny. I didn’t rate this a full 5 stars because I don’t see myself coming back to relisten to it, but I liked it. The last thing I’ll say is there are a lot of topical references, so how well they age may depend on when you listen, but in this moment, mid-2025, it works.

can't get enough Cunk!

Philomena Cunk is my favorite! She presents history in a way that makes me laugh, and want to learn more history. More accurate history. I have listened to this twice, and I laughed both times. If you have heard or seen her before, you know what to expect. If you haven't, you don't know what you're missing. It may not be for everyone, but if you like to laugh and learn (a bit), you'll probably like this.
